Sport and The Chancer IPA for Beer Saturday

Beers on Saturday

It's Saturday. That means Beer Saturday and a few IPAs for me while I watch the rugby world cup.

These are decent beers, so if you see them in your local supermarket, off-licence, bottle shop or liquor store, pick a few up and give them a lash.

It's been another busy week at work for me, so it's been nice to chill out with a few beers once the kids have gone to bed.

It's been another sporty day for me too. I tried off at my local golf club at 8:40am, I played fairly shite to be honest, but it was nice to get out. I then coaches my son's Under 11 soccer team from 1:30pm to 3pm. I made it home in time to watch most of Arsenal's hammering of Sheffield United and now I'm watching the rugby world cup final between South Africa and New Zealand.

Carlsberg don't do Saturdays, but if they did.......

I'm not a fan of IPA's, but I really dig that can. The Rugby World Cup is still going on? Does it last three months or something?

Ya the can is pretty cool alright and it's a tasty IPA.

The rugby world is over now after last night's intriguing final where South Africa's Four penalties was enough to see off New Zealand on a scoreline of 12-11.

52 days have elapsed since the opening game between France and New Zealand and although that's a long time for a 20 team tournament, you really do need breaks between rugby matches due to the physicality especially for the forwards. Each rugby match at that level is the equivalent of a minor to medium car crash in terms of forces and hits to the body.

Wow, that is pretty crazy! I really need to get around to learning more about Rugby.

That is a cool looking one! A little lighter on the ABV so you can enjoy a few with a sporting event too.
