I ask myself sometimes, when I see an interesting collage like this: What made him think of that? I really love the heart theme, the tin man. I'm not sure I put it all together...the person on the pier with hair on fire, the skull..but it's not entirely without hope.
I like the sunset version especially. Really nice collage, @anibal-aa

Well in my case I just start looking for images and let myself get carried away by creativity, I guess the result reflects what I have loaded in my mind at that time. in fact I also ask myself that question when I see paintings that catch my attention.
I'm glad you liked it. I was undecided on which of the two versions to choose for the contest.
