The 100-Day Project, Day 56 — Taking it Very easy Today!
Welcome to Day 56 of the 100-Day Project!
I almost decided to not make a post today because I got very wrapped up in "busy-work" today — personal income tax returns in the USA were due today — and all but forgot to do anything creative.
One of the stones finished during early days of this challenge — now ready to be put for sale on Etsy!
But — in the end — I made a point of at least doing something, mostly as an effort to "stay in the habit." After all, this is still a fairly new habit for me.
Day 56 Stone Painting:
The sum total of today's painting work was another of the small stones for our show "pre bagged" display... I do need to keep on top of making these, so we have a good stock by the beginning of May!
These small stones have become popular gift items, and often sell in multiples at events.
I was going to do two, but just feel too tired today, after working on taxes... and ending up filing an extension, instead.
Day 56 Summary and Social Media Bits:
It turned out to be a VERY light day today: painted just one stone.
Daily Twitter/X post: Check. Did a nature/sunset post.
Daily Facebook Page post: Pass. Really not much to say today.
Daily Instagram post: Check. Sharing a group of spiral stones.
Other Stuff: As usual, this Hive post; at least I painted ONE stone; Daily shoutout to @gillianpearce!
Day 56 completed; small day, but I just had a lot of other things in my world!
I appreciate you coming to visit and please do leave a comment if you feel so inclined!
Thank You!
If you enjoy painted rocks, do check out The Hive Rocks Project and help spread the word about Hive, while also being creative!
Because I am trying to make some semblance of income — a part time living, even — I now add this footer to all my posts, in the hope that someone, somewhere, might decide to take a further look at my work, and perhaps consider supporting independent art.
Thank you, in advance, for your consideration and support!

Well done for managing a stone when you've all that other energy sapping stuff to do. Looks like your habit is getting deeper and deeper engrained.
