I have been dealing with the virtual side of working for a long time now but I have worked both ways and I can say good and bad things about both.
My face-to-face jobs were based on cleaning, being a salesperson and babysitting (the latter was something I really enjoyed). The problem here is that they have not been well paid and have caused me some headaches. I didn't always get along well with my bosses, we have had to find ways to get along so that we could each do our respective jobs, in other jobs I haven't had this problem, but the schedules used to vary and from there, obviously, my salary.

I didn't have enough time to spend with my family and to be able to do the things I wanted to do. Even my mental health was involved in this and as a result of that also my physical health, sometimes, so the solution was to quit.
As time went by I adapted and improved my writing skills more, as it was another thing I always loved to do, so I started to check the internet for ways to get paid for it. I was doing basic translation work, proofreading and writing articles. I didn't get steady jobs that lasted for years, but I did spend some time somewhere or with a client that I found or was recommended and so on.

It is not always easy to find a job virtually. We must keep in mind that it is always good to have some language course or something related to what we are looking for, as this will open more doors, although it also happens that no matter how much study you do, you are not always chosen for a job and this is applicable in the virtual and / or face-to-face.

In my case, the monetary issue is not fixed or big, but I am doing what I love and I am studying to improve and to be able to find many more opportunities. I can manage my schedules to the best of my ability and I can enjoy my time alone or with my family. I am still open to face-to-face opportunities, as long as it really suits me in terms of money, time and comfort.

We must remember that an important factor in what we choose to do has to do with the economy where we are and the job we choose, too. Depending on how it is, it will be part of how we will deal with it. Not everyone can take that privilege of deciding what they want or at least how they want it and it is advisable, if possible, to have a monetary reserve while we are in the search process, to make it a little easier to cope because you do not always get it fast and obviously you have to live. Although there is also the situation that we don't have any reserve and that makes it much more complicated, which causes stress that is hard to cope with if there is no one who can open a door for us.

I think that every time you can, you have to look for information about what you like to do, also look for a way to monetize it even if it is in free time or prepare to be able to take it as a job in the future. It may happen that some people can't, but others can. Depending on the work that each one does and that he/she likes, I feel that each one deserves to be able to decide what to do and that the result is really good, of course, taking into account that everything takes time, but it would be worth the try.

Thanks for joining the contest !LADY
Ever since I return home from abroad and become unemployed. I'm finding ways to earn while resting. Freelancing was the first thing in mind.
I have 2 clients so far in different projects. It's not really big and doesn't pay me that much.
And yes you're right, it's not easy to find clients, especially for the new ones like me.
They will always prefer those with experience in freelancing.

At some point I thought to just return working abroad where I could earn a stable monthly income😅..

Always remember to value your health too while doing your job.. and give more quality time to your family..

It's difficult to find stability as a freelancer, but little by little you will achieve it. Don't give up.
Thank you!

There are always two side to the coin, employed situation means travel to and from, dress regulations, time keeping, good outcome in position employed into. Freelancing requires discipline, a space to work to keep streamlined, delivering completed tasks meticulously, temporary positions extremely time consuming to find secure income.

Whichever you decide it is what makes you most comfortable.

Freelancing was not really something one did when I was young, it apparently suits many more with internet connectivity which we never had.

Those writing and translation jobs are good, my daughter was interested in that for a while but she didn't know where to look for that kind of job.

In other hand it's important to study to impove your skills and if you'redoingwhat you want, that will make you fell well and healthy

I totally agree with what you say.
Talking about jobs, it's not easy to find them, but there are many websites that can help, although I also recommend that search on social media for writing and translation, as there is always information out there.
