Let's take a bloody drink! Lira the dark

Buenas noches amigos, hoy para mi entrada al concurso de @Splinterlands decidí dibujar una de las cartas que mas me gustan, Lira the dark es perfecta sobre todo para este mes de octubre ya que parece un personaje que va bastante con la temática de Halloween, esta vez quise dibujarla sosteniendo una copa llena de sangre, la misma sangre chorrea por su boca y además quise cambiar el vestuario un poco, esta vez hice un vestido, que básicamente es una versión diferente pero que aun mantiene su esencia, quise añadir encaje en la parte del pecho con una tela transparente debajo, mangas anchas y extravagantes y un vestido con botones y pliegos a los costados, esta vez no quise añadir una capa ni accesorios ya que no quería sobrecargar el dibujo, lo intente y no me gusto ponerle demasiadas cosas, el rayo rojo que solemos ver en la carta de Lira The dark lo quise representar en forma de pequeños rayos de fondo en la parte derecha, estoy muy feliz con el resultado final aunque fue bastante difícil terminarlo en solo un día, espero que les guste.

Good evening friends, today for my entry to the @Splinterlands contest I decided to draw one of the cards I like the most, Lira the dark is perfect especially for this month of October as it seems a character that goes quite with the Halloween theme, this time I wanted to draw her holding a cup full of blood, the same blood drips from her mouth and I also wanted to change the costume a little, this time I made a dress, which is basically a different version but still maintains her essence, I wanted to add lace in the chest part with a transparent fabric underneath, wide and extravagant sleeves and a dress with buttons and pleats on the sides, this time I didn't want to add a cape or accessories because I didn't want to overload the drawing, I tried and I didn't like to put too many things, the red ray that we usually see in Lira The dark's card I wanted to represent it in the form of small rays in the background on the right side, I am very happy with the final result although it was quite difficult to finish it in only one day, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto y empecé a pintar la piel, esta vez quise usar tonos azules y lila, tambien añadir una luz roja en el lado derecho, en una nueva capa añadí mas colores para darle forma por completo a toda la parte de la piel, luego comencé a mezclar todos estos colores dejando una textura suave, para el cabello use un color morado oscuro, esta vez quise pintar los ojos de rojo ya que siento que asi se ve mas llamativo, usando morados claros empecé a darle forma al cabello y tambien agregue un reflejo de luz roja, pinte la parte del pecho con un color gris y le baje la opacidad para dar ese efecto de tela transparente y tambien pinte el vestido.

I made the sketch and started to paint the skin, this time I wanted to use blue and lilac tones, also add a red light on the right side, in a new layer I added more colors to shape the whole skin part, then I started to mix all these colors leaving a soft texture, for the hair I used a dark purple color, this time I wanted to paint the eyes red as I feel it looks more striking, using light purple I started to shape the hair and also added a red light reflection, I painted the chest with a gray color and lowered the opacity to give that effect of transparent fabric and also painted the dress.

Añadí encaje al pecho usando brochas con esa textura, luego pinte las mangas del vestido y la copa, empecé a darle volumen a toda la ropa con luces y sombras, cambie el fondo a un morado oscuro y luego añadí luces rojas en la parte derecha, se me ocurrió dibujar pequeñas líneas rojas que simulan rayos, pinte sangre cayendo de la boca y luego empecé a añadir luces al rostro usando una capa en modo “screen” finalice mi dibujo editando la imagen a mi gusto y añadiendo mas color a algunas partes.

I added lace to the chest using brushes with that texture, then I painted the sleeves of the dress and the cup, I started to give volume to all the clothes with lights and shadows, I changed the background to a dark purple and then I added red lights on the right side, I drew little red lines that simulate lightning, I painted blood falling from the mouth and then I started to add lights to the face using a layer in “screen” mode, I finished my drawing editing the image to my liking and adding more color to some parts.
