Esta semana quería probar algo diferente y se me ocurrió participar en el concurso de
@Splinterlands con una de las cosas que mas me gusta hacer además de dibujar, el maquillaje.
Me costo mucho armar todo este look para dar vibras de Byzantine Kitty, pero realmente quería hacer esto, desde hace mucho tiempo tenia esta idea y hace dos días empecé a armar todo para crear mi versión en maquillaje de esta linda carta.
Elegí esta carta porque es una de las que mas me gusta estéticamente, se ve tierna y adorable, además de que tiene el potencial para explotarse en un maquillaje, últimamente he realizado muchos maquillajes dark por la temporada de Halloween y se sintió bien hacer algo muy opuesto a eso por lo menos una vez.
Para desarrollar mi idea obviamente me guie viendo la imagen original, fue bastante complicado porque tenia una lluvia de ideas y no sabia con cual quedarme, al final quise hacer un maquillaje muy brillante con tonos azules y plateados, además de aplicar un toque de rosa, quería añadir un delineado blanco con forma de alas que simularían las alas de este hermoso gatito, dibuje a mano los dos amigos de Byzantine y tambien mis orejas, todo lo hice con cartulina ya que era el unico material que tenia a la mano, acompañe el maquillaje con una peluca gris, que es el color que mas se acerca al pelaje de Byzantine y use lentes de contacto mini sclera azules que hacen ver mis ojos aún más grandes.
Pensé en hacerme un maquillaje con cara de gato, literalmente. Pero si les soy sincera ese tipo de maquillaje me da miedo, me resulta perturbador jajajaja, espero que les guste.

This week I wanted to try something different and I came up with the idea of participating in the @Splinterlands art contest with one of the things I love to do besides drawing, makeup.
It took me a lot to put together this whole look to give Byzantine Kitty vibes, but I really wanted to do this, for a long time I had this idea and two days ago I started putting everything together to create my makeup version of this cute card.
I chose this card because it's one of the ones I like the most aesthetically, it looks cute and adorable, plus it has the potential to be exploited in a make-up, lately I've done a lot of dark make-ups for the Halloween season and it felt good to do something very opposite to that at least once.
To develop my idea obviously I was guided by looking at the original image, it was quite complicated because I had a brainstorm of ideas and did not know which one to choose, in the end I wanted to make a very bright makeup with blue and silver tones, besides applying a touch of pink, I wanted to add a white eyeliner in the shape of wings that would simulate the wings of this beautiful kitten, I hand drew Byzantine's two friends and also my ears, I did everything with cardboard as it was the only material I had at hand, I accompanied the makeup with a gray wig, which is the color that is closest to Byzantine's fur and I used blue mini sclera contact lenses that make my eyes look even bigger.
I thought about doing a cat face makeup, literally. But if I'm honest, that kind of makeup scares me, I find it disturbing hahahaha, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process
Antes de poner en marcha el maquillaje, decidí hacer con días de antelación los dibujos a mano de los compañeros de Byzantine además de las orejas que me coloque, entonces, tomé cartulina blanca y un lápiz y comencé a dibujar a mano alzada el primer animalito, borre muchas veces porque no estoy acostumbrada a dibujar animales o cualquier otro tipo de criatura, me guie con algunos círculos y líneas que hice para el boceto, hasta que logre que finalmente se viera muy parecido.
Before starting the make-up, I decided to make days in advance the hand drawings of Byzantine's companions in addition to the ears that I put on, then, I took white cardboard and a pencil and began to draw freehand the first animal, I erased many times because I'm not used to draw animals or any other type of creature, I was guided with some circles and lines that I made for the sketch, until I finally got it to look very similar.
Después de que la forma era correcta, delinee con marcador negro fino y luego utilice un borrador para eliminar las marcas de lápiz, hice la prueba con varios colores de tonos marrones y beige para ver cual quedaba parecido a los colores originales y empecé a colorear, rellenando todo muy bien. Después de pintarlos a ambos, los recorté.
After the shape was correct, I outlined with a fine black marker and then used an eraser to remove the pencil marks, tested with several colors of brown and beige tones to see which one looked similar to the original colors and started coloring, filling everything in nicely. After painting them both, I cut them out.
Luego realice las orejas, no me quedaron tan bonitas pero probe de varias formas y esta fue la que mas me gustó, las pinté y pegue sobre una diadema con ayuda de silicón caliente.
Then I made the ears, they were not so nice but I tried several ways and this was the one I liked the most, I painted them and glued them on a headband with the help of hot silicone.
Ahora si era hora de empezar con el maquillaje, coloque mis lentes de contacto, hidrate mi rostro y aplique una base muy clara, luego tome sombra de ojos azul claro y la difumine, después tome un azul mas oscuro para mezclarlos y después tome una sombra en gel negra para darle mas profundidad, en la parte central del parpado y el lagrimal quise añadir luz, asi que aplique sombras con glitter azul y blanca, delineé la línea de agua con lápiz blanco para dar la ilusión de ojos aun mas grandes y luego en la parte de abajo delinee con lápiz negro, después contorneé la nariz y aplique mucho rubor fucsia.
Now it was time to start with the makeup, I put my contact lenses, moisturized my face and applied a very light foundation, then I took light blue eyeshadow and blended it, then I took a darker blue to blend them and then I took a black gel eyeshadow to give it more depth, in the center part of the eyelid and the tear trough I wanted to add light, so I applied shadows with blue and white glitter, I lined the water line with white pencil to give the illusion of even bigger eyes and then on the bottom part I lined with black pencil, then I contour the nose and applied a lot of hot pink blush.
Apliqué mascara de pestañas y pinte un corazón rosa en el centro de mi nariz, quise pintar unas líneas rosas en las mejillas y pinte una estrella en cada lado del rostro, selle todo el maquillaje con polvo traslucido y luego dibuje las alas en los ojos, finalice mi maquillaje aplicando un labial rojo en el centro y gloss para darle más brillo, además de colocar pestañas postizas.
I applied mascara and painted a pink heart in the center of my nose, I wanted to paint some pink lines on the cheeks and painted a star on each side of the face, I sealed all the makeup with translucent powder and then drew the wings on the eyes, I finished my makeup by applying a red lipstick in the center and gloss to give it more shine, in addition to placing false eyelashes.
Final
Para las fotos, me coloque la peluca gris, las orejas y además pegue a las macotas en mi cabello, pared, en fin, las pegue en varios lugares, fue bastante difícil tomar las fotos mientras tenia estos elementos encima jajaa, a veces se caían, pero pude manejarlo, para finalizar y darle un toque mas lindo edite la imagen colocando un fondo de cielo.
For the photos, I put on the gray wig, the ears and also glued the pets in my hair, wall, in short I glued them in several places, it was quite difficult to take the pictures while I had these elements on me hahaa, sometimes they fell but I could handle it, to finish and give it a nicer touch I edited the image by placing a sky background.
