Currently, what before was just an illusion or something that we could only see in science fiction movies, something that could be but in many years, is now closer, are things that are already here, like artificial intelligence, and robots that are already among us, perhaps not as we see them in the movies, in human form, but robots are already among us.

Among the positive possibilities of this reality is that robots can allow us to do things that are very risky for a human being to do, such as defusing a bomb, exploring the abysses of the oceans, exploring the most remote corners of our galaxy.

These robots can be just an extension to do more precise work or allow an expert doctor to operate on a patient without being present on site, remotely as is being done in first world countries.

Other robots can be more autonomous and the degree of autonomy can vary, being a relative autonomy, which execute certain actions already programmed, such as automatic vacuum cleaners that can already be purchased or toys in the form of robots that execute some commands that we tell them how. dance, sing, etc. and that there are different types of robots with different complexity.

These advances are for the good of humanity and help to lead an easier and better life, allowing us to move forward and think about other things.

However, these advances also have their disadvantages and dangers such as the refinement of scams where with a program they can change the voice and face of the person who calls you and we ourselves provide the photos that the program needs to replace that face with the from a known person such as your mother, brother or son, they can make you believe that they are kidnapped or that they need money for an emergency and you think that that call was made by a relative of yours and is a scammer, that is already happening.

Another danger with the development of artificial intelligences is that if they are not controlled, they can eventually get out of control or be manipulated so that they go on a path of evil and those movies can even become reality where the machines reveal themselves and exterminate or They dominate humanity.

For some reason, great authorities in technology like ELEON MUSK and as well as the FACEBOOK duels and many of those large companies sent a letter asking that the development of artificial intelligence be stopped for a time, so that it could be controlled and regulated. and avoid increasingly possible disasters.

You might think that a scenario like TERMINATOR is increasingly possible since the armies of CHINA, RUSSIA AND USA/OTAN develop robots for wars, considering placing many of them with artificial intelligence and the question is whether they have proposed any countermeasures. to apply if this artificial intelligence gets out of control what to do because it can come back to haunt us and there are already signs of this with some artificial intelligence robots concluding although sometimes it is a joke that if they think about disappearing or cheating control.

Another danger that is already happening and that I talk about in another article is in the jobs that many of these artificial intelligences can replace, like what we already experience here, the generation of digital art with artificial intelligence and that some users can use to enter contests or generation of literary texts by artificial intelligence, and that it is increasingly difficult to identify texts generated by artificial intelligence and by human authors.

In conclusion, technology increasingly helps to improve our quality of life but it also brings new and more dangerous challenges that did not exist before and it is our duty to reflect and as ordinary people make demands to the entities in power so that the development of technology is done responsibly, reducing these dangers.
