Splinterlands Art Contest - Week 290 - Brighton Bloom

Hello again, everyone. As I briefly mentioned in my previous post, I did manage to finish up two Fanarts this Friday - all thanks to my increased speed of constantly drawing Fanarts and participating in Contests. So, this is the follow-up post of the other drawing for the Splinterlands Art Contest, if you haven't checked the other one out, you can find the previous post here.

With that out of the way, let's get into a brief overview of the drawing itself. I chose to draw Brighton Bloom this week and seeing his clothes, long hair, and design at first, I thought he was a woman. That's when this idea occurred to me that maybe I could try drawing him as a female character and I gave the idea a spin to see how things would work out.

Surprisingly, it didn't look that bad at all. I think the sparkles and radiant spread-out hair I gave my character made everything look even better. That's why I decided to stick with everything as it were. Honestly, a simple misunderstanding about the character's gender led to a pretty nice drawing of the character that I might not have thought of easily.

I hope you also enjoyed the journey to this character's creation and I'll be seeing you in my next Fanart... cheers~
