Splinterlands Art Contest - Week 301 - Xia Seachan

Hello there, everyone. Today I'm here to present to you all another entry for the Splinterlands Art Contest. In this piece, I decided to draw Xia Seachan with my usual twist - making her look more docile and friendly since she's angry and threatening enough in her original version.

First off, I decided not to draw any of her parts since they all make her look more menacing and scary, except her ears. Honestly, she would've looked more scary without ears, or strange with human ears so I kept those.

Next, I decided to ditch her scaley(?) skin as it added more unnecessary detail and made her look more complicated than needed - making her more mysterious and also scary which I had decided to avoid.

Last but not least, I did mention it indirectly before, but I also got rid of her hands in the pic (they look devilish) and removed her fin crown as it was, again, too pointy and didn't resonate well with my version of her and instead of the crown, I chose to put more emphasis on her hair and make it more attractive.
