Hello hivers, I greet you from the heights of my city. The Waraira Repano mountain that shelters the city of Caracas. My favorite place in this city.

Several months ago I took these photos from the top of the Waraira, towards the view that offers us towards the sea and the town of the city when we see to the north.

I took advantage of this moment when the clouds are covering the Caribbean Sea and the sky has very pastel pink and orange colors.

The Picacho is a large rock mountain that we observe on the left side of this landscape, and I feel that it has a very incredible energy.

That's how the sunset was falling. This is the time of day I prefer to visit this place. Arriving before sunset, watching the sunset at high altitude and going back down to the city when it is already dark.

The trails of the national park turn this mountain into a tourist place par excellence, not to mention the touch that gives the Hotel Humboldt illuminated as we see it in the background.

One of the nice kiosks where you can try a snack. When you come, be sure to try a hot chocolate or some strawberries and cream. Preferably when you arrive since it is likely that at nightfall some of the kiosks will begin to close.

Before I go, how about posing with wings. What do you say, are they angel wings, eagle wings, condor wings, or hawk wings?

As you can see in my blog, the Waraira Repano is a place that I would visit many times in my life, again and again gladly. To get there I have three options, to go up by cable car, to go up in a rustic vehicle or to go up walking, the three options have their charm, but only through the first two I can do it at the end of the day, the important thing is to get to the top.

But, let's go back to the first photos, it was not until today when I was preparing this post, that in the first photos I noticed some dots in the sky, on the right side, of which I have no idea what they could be. Could it be that they are birds that were passing by at that moment? They are quite far away. Is it a defect in both pictures? I don't see it very feasible. What do you think? Have you ever photographed a landscape and seen something like this?

Aho!

Saludos, @alteramelia 🤗.
