LOH #197: My Mum My Inspiration.

Hello Everyone
Welcome to my Blog
I hope we're doing great?

It's another week full of fun,and it's a great honor to participate in the writing contest here in the Ladies of Hive community and this is my first time participating. So now it's a great pleasure to answer one of the fantastic questions.

Who in your life inspires you to become the best version of yourself, and how do they do so?

This is one topic I am so excited to write about. We all have a lot of people that inspire us to become a better version of ourselves. Most of us have friends that inspire us, pastors, mentors and parents. I am so blessed to have my mum in my life as a huge inspiration to me. I thought that losing my father would be the end of life for me and my siblings but my mum took it upon herself to be a great source of blessing and a huge inspiration to us. Despite the fact that my dad died leaving us at a very tender age for her to Carter for she took that as a challenge upon herself to care for us not minding the situation in life. She has supported me through good and bad times, helping shape the person I am today. My mum inspired me to reach all that I can be.

I had big dreams when I was younger and as I am growing everyday seeing the way my mum is struggling for us keeps reminding me about the vow I made to myself that I would work hard in my studies and do everything in my power to assist her too. My goals inspired me to follow my aspirations and gave me the fortitude to grow into the person I am today for my mum.

Experiencing all the restless nights she has been through just for me to succeed and be a better person in life both in my career as a fashion designer and as a student. Having to struggle on her own to see me and my siblings become a better version of ourselves is one big inspiration to me and I vow to do more for her as I keep striving to become that better person she has always wanted me to be.

She has been my greatest inspiration and the reason why I keep striving to make it in life. She has been the reason why i refuse to give up even when there are a lot of reasons to give up but when i remember that she stands a better chance to give up and she didnt i kept pushing and striving to become a better version of me.
