You always give us a clue to the intention behind your collage: Fallen. This suggests to me Hell, and not only the fallen state of the human race but the way we are driving the earth into extinction.
The fires remind me of the open coal pits one might see in the abandoned coal mines of Pennsylvania. Here is a Youtube clip of how one town once looked :

Well I had so many things on my mind when I sat down to put together the pieces for this composition so I opted to represent something disturbing like the decay of civilization, society or humanity as time progresses.
Your interpretation is right for this collage, this is what I love about creating this kind of work is to be able to get interpretations from different points of view.
I did not know about this site , as always you provide us with interesting data .
