It's been a long time. The new season is already in full swing but I haven't really come out of the pudding. Sometimes the whole thing takes a bit longer.

In my opinion, the matchmaking isn't that great at the moment.
It's quite positive for me because I'm actually playing more often against opponents from the middle bronze rank.
Maybe they are bots from Splinterlands. Then I could live with that.
For a new player, however, a situation like this would be a reason to leave the game.
As long as it happens more often.

I know this situation well enough myself.
In particular, the removal of the level restrictions has had a very negative impact on game performance.

Far too often in the lower leagues, players were playing with level max cards. With a humane amount of money you really don't have any cuts.
Is it fun to be regularly slaughtered like that?
Quite clearly: NO!

Did anyone care about that?
Again, quite clearly: NO!

But it's not all bad either. Of course there are still plenty of bots in Modern. Battlehelpers are also used far too much.
But it's gotten better. You can tell that.

They're also trying to do something.

And that means we can already see a lot of progress.
