Photo feed Contest: Black and White Photography #107. The Evolution of Infrastructure at Olabisi Onabanjo University
Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), located in Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, continues to witness remarkable infrastructural development, thanks to strategic funding and planning. One such notable project is the construction of a new Faculty Building, funded by the Federal Government’s Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND).
This four-level administrative and lecture hall complex is a significant addition to the university’s landscape. With construction commencing in 2013, progress has been steady, reaching a milestone with the casting of the second-floor slab. The $1.4 million project reflects OOU’s commitment to providing a conducive academic environment for students and staff.
Beyond this faculty building, the OOU Senate Building stands as an architectural landmark, symbolizing the institution’s administrative strength. The surrounding walkways and bridges further enhance accessibility and aesthetics, contributing to a more seamless campus experience.
With continuous investments in infrastructure, OOU remains on a path of growth, ensuring that its facilities match its academic excellence.
