¡Fuimos a El Bitcoin Tour!
El pasado diciembre del 2023 fui invitada a dar una charla en un evento que no conocía, por el momento, pero fue algo que me llenó de mucha felicidad porque me invitaban a hablar sobre Hive o sobre cualquier tema ¿y cuál tema escogí? ¡Claramente escogí hablar sobre Hive!
Era mi primera invitación por mi cuenta de forma internacional y fue algo maravilloso, es algo que no esperaba pero, como me dijo un amigo, es la consecuencia de todo lo que hiciste durante el año.
Lo mantuve en secreto mientras se orquestó todo, me entusiasmaba muchísimo el poder conocer una nueva ciudad y tener la posibilidad de conocer a nuevos hivers que irían desde San Cristobal en Venezuela a Cucuta en Colombia.

Last December 2023 I was invited to give a talk in an event that I did not know, for the moment, but it was something that filled me with great happiness because I was invited to talk about Hive or about any topic and which topic did I choose? Of course I chose to talk about Hive!
It was my first invitation on my own in an international way and it was something wonderful, it's something I didn't expect but, as a friend told me, it's the consequence of everything you did during the year.
I kept it a secret while everything was orchestrated, I was very excited to get to know a new city and have the chance to meet new hivers that would go from San Cristobal in Venezuela to Cucuta in Colombia.
En este viaje fui sola, sin embargo, mi amigo Noel también asistiría porque él es Angels de Binance y lo invitaron, así que en el camino de ida y vuelta lo hicimos juntos. Fue bastante chévere no viajar el trayecto sola, honestamente, la buena compañía se agradece, sobre todo porque nos fuimos por dentro de Colombia y habían sitios que aún no conocía, como nuestro destino final: Cucuta.
Llegamos el día antes del side event de MonaBit, nos instalamos y salimos a conocer un poco la ciudad. Al siguiente día andabamos impacientes por participar en el side event porque se habían encargado de meternos bastante FOMO y, claramente, fuimos, nos juntamos con un montón de personas increíbles del ecosistema que pudieron asistir ese día. Algo que no esperabamos de Cucuta: Calor. Me dijeron en casa que era frío o fresco, tipo Caracas, y yo me llevé ropa para este tipo de clima y, pues, no me sirvió. Tocó andar pasando calor y fallar los outfits, fallar el flow.

On this trip I went alone, however, my friend Noel would also attend because he is Angels of Binance and he was invited, so we did the way there and back together. It was pretty cool not to travel the journey alone, honestly, good company is appreciated, especially because we went inside Colombia and there were places I didn't know yet, like our final destination: Cucuta.
We arrived the day before the MonaBit side event, we settled in and went out to get to know the city a bit. The next day we were impatient to participate in the side event because they had been in charge of getting us into a lot of FOMO and, clearly, we went, we met a lot of amazing people from the ecosystem that could attend that day. Something we didn't expect from Cucuta: Heat. I was told at home that it was cold or cool, like Caracas, and I took clothes for this kind of weather and, well, it didn't work for me. I had to walk around in the heat and fail the outfits, fail the flow.
Fueron dos días de conocimiento puro y duro, desde lo más básico hasta lo más especifico como el trading y los workshops de trading estuvieron A1. Tuve la oportunidad de participar en una charla donde hablé sobre la economía del creador en Hive y aparte, al siguiente día en un panel junto a Lu Sierra, Santiago Guzman y Kevin Hernandez, grandes constructores e influenciadores del ecosistema web3 en Colombia y Venezuela respectivamente.
El primer día hubo un after de futbol pero no asistí porque el calor me pegó fuerte el primer día y decidí descansar porque al siguiente día había una súper fiesta auspiciada por Binance a la cual no quería faltar y, además, llegaban @keritroberts y @mariakekin bien temprano, y quería recibirlas con buena cara (no pareciendo el mapache Pedro).
Claramente, ambos días y poco antes de irnos de regreso, pasamos por un Farmatodo que quedaba a dos cuadras del sitio del evento porque si yo no paso por un Farmatodo no me siento yo. Es raro pero uno se siente como en casa cuando llega al local hasta que te hablan y sientes el acento ajeno.

It was two days of pure and hard knowledge, from the most basic to the most specific as trading and trading workshops were A1. I had the opportunity to participate in a talk where I spoke about the creator economy in Hive and the next day in a panel with Lu Sierra, Santiago Guzman and Kevin Hernandez, great builders and influencers of the web3 ecosystem in Colombia and Venezuela respectively.
The first day there was a soccer after party but I didn't attend because the heat hit me hard the first day and I decided to rest because the next day there was a super party sponsored by Binance which I didn't want to miss and, in addition, @keritroberts and @mariakekin were arriving very early, and I wanted to welcome them with a good face (not looking like the raccoon Pedro).
Clearly, both days and shortly before going back, we passed by a Farmatodo that was two blocks away from the event site because if I don't pass by a Farmatodo I don't feel like me. It is strange but you feel at home when you arrive at the store until they talk to you and you feel the foreign accent.
Fue muy genial ver caras conocidas en Hive como @josepimpo y @kreuter2022 que, así como yo, dejaron en todo lo alto el nombre de nuestra blockchain en los diferentes espacios en los que estuvieron, sobre todo Pimpo que estaba súper emocionado por la participación de Hive en el evento Talent Land que sería pocos días después.
Aunque en esta oportunidad no fuimos sponsors del evento, Hive se hizo sentir de inicio a fin del evento, regalamos merch alusivo a nuestra marca y también hablamos de ella con diferentes exchanges, wallets, etc.
Siempre es un placer re conectar con los que conocemos pero el networking con nuevos aliados siempre lleva a Hive mucho más lejos y estoy segura que en este evento no fue la excepción.

It was great to see familiar faces at Hive as @josepimpo and @kreuter2022 who, like me, left the name of our blockchain in the different spaces where they were, especially Pimpo who was super excited about the participation of Hive in the Talent Land event that would be a few days later.
Although this time we were not sponsors of the event, Hive was felt from start to finish of the event, we gave away merchandise allusive to our brand and we also talked about it with different exchanges, wallets, etc.
It is always a pleasure to reconnect with those we know but networking with new allies always takes Hive much further and I am sure that this event was no exception.
Me alegra que no hayas viajado sola sino con buena compañía ❤️, y si, este es el resultado de todo tu esfuerzo, dedicación y constancia, sobretodo fidelidad a lo que amas hacer, siempre estaré orgullosa de cada logro, escalón, meta, por muy pequeña o grande que sea, eres una mujer increíble 🔥🔥🔥
Al menos ya sabes como preparar esas maletas la próxima vez jajaja, igual yo te veo mamasota en todas esas fotos 😏😏😏
Viajar sola no es malo, la verdad, pero viajar en compañía es muy chévere.
Yo también estoy sumamente orgullosa de ti, de todo tu progreso y aunque no hablemos todos los días, desde acá lo veo. Amo demasiado lo altruista que eres con los michis, es algo que me llena mucho el corazón cada vez que lo veo en tus redes sociales.
Sí, no es que me vea mal pero no me maquillé porque el calor no jugaba carritos, lo sentí peor que el de Maracaibo y yo llevé varias chaquetas para cambiarme, y tal pero no, qué va, no se lograron los objetivos, jajajaja.
