Greetings dear friends of Hive, and Hive Open Mic community week 253. This week theme is Dear Diary and I will be doing a cover of a song title The Dairy by Neil Sekada.

Although when I first came across this theme, I really didn't know which song to sing, so I quickly learned this song that talks about dairy. A diary is a private book where people used to write different things about their lives, such as their emotions, challenges, goals, and so on. The diary by Neil Sekada was released in the year 1959, and it was a simple love song that narrates a story of a man who is deeply in love, but he wonders if the woman shares the same feeling as he does. The man believes that the woman has a diary, and he is willing to know if his name is the one written in the diary.
