Baking is My Therapy - Matcha Burnt Cheesecake

IMG_6509.jpeg

My expertise in making cakes is better, cakes make things more delicious. How can I make a delicious cake without the help of good recipes on various social media, making everything easier. Maybe I can't make really delicious cakes like a bakery or pastry shop, they have studied with professional people, even got a certificate. What am I compared to them? But, studying makes me a better version of myself.

The First, Baking is My Therapy

That sentence is something I am working on at the moment. without coercion, it even tends to be very fun. It doesn't matter, even though I might gain weight because I try my own food, at least I have improved my skills in baking cakes.

If you really know, I often share interesting recipes, especially sweet and savory foods. In the next time, I want to make more food that you can use as an example. Although sometimes it will feel very strange for the first try. My husband always says that the second try of every dish I make is the best version. The sentence he said was not wrong, LOL.

Well, this time I made the best version of matcha cheesecake I've ever made. I don't know why, now I'm really good at making food or drinks made from matcha. Maybe because I found matcha with very good quality at a very affordable price. This is matcha yuzu from the brand to a tea which is one of the tea brands that has very good quality, in my opinion.

Matcha Burnt Cheese Cake
The Recipe

The cheesecake that I made was very easy, I think making cheesecake is easy but you have to have good basic ingredients. The ingredients are also not too complicated and many like making cakes in general. You don't need complicated tools either, you just need to use a whisk and an oven at a high temperature.

Ingredients:

  • 400g cream cheese
  • 70 gr granulated sugar
  • 100 gr whipped cream
  • 10 grams of cornstarch
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 gr Japanese matcha
  • Pinch of salt
  • Baking paper and cake pan diameter 15-20 cm

From some of the ingredients above, you have to adjust them to the right size, because if they are not suitable, it might not meet expectations. I think you should get really good quality cream cheese.

How to make matcha burnt cheesecake:

  • The cream cheese that you have must be whisked first at room temperature, make sure the cream cheese has become more melted and left at room temperature so that it is easy to beat. Then add the prepared sugar, cornstarch and whipped cream. Beat until everything becomes thicker.

  • Take the matcha powder, then filter it so that it is easy to combine with the mixture and doesn't clump, stir again until evenly mixed. I even used a blender because I didn't have a whisk, then I added 2 broken eggs.

  • Line the cake pan with baking paper, used to make it easier to take out the cheese cake when it has been baked. Pour all the mixture onto the surface of the pan and make sure to tap so that the mixture is solid in the pan.

  • Bake at the maximum oven temperature you have for 20-30 minutes, make sure the top is burnt and puffs up when baked.

  • Remove the burnt cheese cake and let it sit at room temperature until it calms down. It's better to serve it cold and keep it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours so it tastes better.

Practice definitely makes perfect, and if you are doing your work with love, the result is optimal. This cake turned out great, the color is beautiful and the crust is crispy. Very good recipe @aswita

I realized that making something, especially about food, must at least give it a little love and a touch of heart. Matcha is the best thing ever :D
