Pao de Queijo - Brazillian Cheese Bread Recipe
Try new things. It's always a new journey. No, trying new things is not just about traveling, traveling and creating new things. It could be that you are creating something that has existed before but it is your first time. This time, it was the first time I tried something new that I found on social media.
Coming from another continent, another country, the food is being talked about a lot on Indonesian social media. I don't know what it started from, why this happened or why the hype is this big. But, what I know for sure is that this recipe changed my life today. enough, this makes my family happy. A new recipe that tastes delicious, filling and also an unforgettable experience.
Pao de Queijo, perhaps for Brazilians, this cake is commonplace, easy to find in any bakery. But, this is the cake that our community is paying attention to. In fact, it makes me very curious. Where this cake is full of ingredients that make me very interested. Regarding the use of 'cheese' which my husband and I definitely like. Oh, not only my husband and I, even my nephew really likes it.
Ingredients:
- 180 gr tapioca flour
- 60 ml vegetable oil
- 150 ml UHT milk
- 100 gr parmesan
- 40 gr mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg
- 5 grams of salt
This cake is gluten free
How to Make Pao de Queijo - Brazillian Cheese Bread
In my opinion, this cake is a type of cake that is very easy to bake. All ingredients only need to be weighed and then ground gradually. I just used a blender to puree everything. There is a tip to make the cake really taste like parmesan cheese, by adding grated parmesan at the end. However, I want to finish it faster.
- Weighing all the ingredients, this is the most important, especially the measure of vegetable oil and uht milk. So that the dough is not too runny and not too thick. This is the thing that can't be skipped. Use good scales.
- Add all ingredients except Parmesan (if you want a more pronounced texture)
- After mixing all the ingredients, grease the tray with oil so that it doesn't stick to the part of the tray used.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
- Remove from baking tray and enjoy at warm temperature. Don't forget the Americano or latte. Very delicious to eat in the afternoon with the family.
In my opinion, this cake is really delicious because it uses a lot of cheese. One thing I like is the slightly chewy texture because it uses mozzarella which makes this cake feel soft but not too difficult to chew. In fact, this is a cake that is suitable for diabetics, without sugar, even though it uses tapioca flour, this is enough to minimize the rise in blood sugar.
See you the next time hive friends!
