Las festividades en donde los protagonistas o destinatarios son los niños son las más gratificantes, ver sus sonrisas y su alegría provoca que todo el ambiente se llene de felicidad.

El domingo 23 de febrero se llevó a cabo el desfile con disfraces, carrozas, baile y canto dentro del carnaval de este año. En el pasado sólo había podido asistir al desfile de los dioses, pero eso ocurrió en el 2019, que este año y el anterior se suspendió por lluvia, realmente una pena porque es hermoso de ver y disfrutar.

Pero este año si pude concurrir al desfile de los niños y la verdad fue una alegría inmensa, ver tanto a los niños y adolescentes también, disfrazados, cantando y bailando, como también a todos aquellos que fueron exclusivamente a ver el desfile en la avenida de paseo del parque.

Fue un día soleado, no hacía frío, de hecho, parecía primavera. El desfile comenzó a la hora programada, aproximadamente a las 17 hs. Logré situarme en un lugar donde podía tener muy buena visualización de las carrozas que pasaban y ver con detenimiento los disfraces tan detallados y trabajados.

Festivities where the protagonists or recipients are children are the most gratifying, seeing their smiles and their joy makes the whole atmosphere fill with happiness.

On Sunday 23 February the parade with costumes, floats, dancing and singing took place as part of this year's carnival. In the past I had only been able to attend the parade of the gods, but that happened in 2019, which this year and last year was cancelled due to rain, really a pity because it is beautiful to see and enjoy.

But this year I was able to attend the children's parade and the truth was an immense joy, to see both children and teenagers too, dressed up, singing and dancing, as well as all those who went exclusively to see the parade in the avenue of Paseo del Parque.

It was a sunny day, not cold, in fact, it felt like spring. The parade started at the scheduled time, approximately 5pm. I managed to position myself in a place where I could get a good view of the floats passing by and get a good look at the elaborate and detailed costumes.

Supongo que todo lo que ven ha llevado meses de preparación y mucho trabajo por parte de cada una de las familias y grupos que participan en el desfile. No sólo en la confección de los trajes y la creación y desarrollo de las carrozas sino también en armar las coreografías en el caso de los grupos de baile.

El color destacaba, de hecho, muchos colores, brillantes y alegres que dejaban con los ojos bien abiertos a los niños que miraban.

El desfile estaba dividido en sectores, cada uno con detalles característicos, como colores, vestimenta, trajes, banderas, y se iban intercalando bailes de personas disfrazadas en su mayoría niños, con carrozas dirigidas por un niño, nuevamente un espacio con personas bailando y luego comenzaron a aparecer lo que yo llamo los gigantes.

Aparecieron el rey momo con su carroza blanca, celeste y mucho brillo y luego la reina del carnaval con colores rojo, negro, blanco y amarillo. Estaban preciosas esas carrozas.

I suppose that everything you see has taken months of preparation and a lot of work by each of the families and groups participating in the parade. Not only in the making of the costumes and the creation and development of the floats but also in putting together the choreographies in the case of the dance groups.

The colour was indeed a highlight, lots of bright and cheerful colours that left the eyes of the children watching wide open.

The parade was divided into sectors, each with characteristic details, such as colours, clothing, costumes, flags, and dances by people in costume, mostly children, were interspersed with floats led by a child, again a space with people dancing, and then what I call the giants began to appear.

The king momo appeared with his white, light blue and very shiny float and then the queen of the carnival with red, black, white and yellow colours. Those floats were beautiful.

Había filmado un video del baile que realizaron el grupo que interpretaba a la película de La Máscara, pero no he podido subirlo, por lo que les traigo unas fotografías de la parte del espectáculo que más me gustó.

El baile fue espectacular, los rostros de los niños sonrientes, mucha felicidad y eso me encantó. Las coreografías fueron muy divertidas.

Los niños a mi alrededor guitaban, reían y se sorprendían con cada personaje, cada carroza y cada baile. También aquí cuando aparecieron los Minions.

Delante de cada uno de los gigantes inflables había personas que traían atracciones para los niños, en una ocasión era un gusano que se movía dependiendo de como lo manipulara la persona que lo llevaba, siempre con mucho colorido y atractivo para los niños.

I had filmed a video of the dance performed by the group that interpreted the film of La Máscara, but I have not been able to upload it, so I bring you some pictures of the part of the show that I liked the most.

The dancing was spectacular, the smiling faces of the children, a lot of happiness and I loved it. The choreographies were a lot of fun.

The kids around me were cheering, laughing and surprised with every character, every float and every dance. This is also when the minions appeared.

In front of each of the inflatable giants there were people who brought attractions for the children, on one occasion it was a worm that moved depending on how the person carrying it handled it, always colourful and attractive for the children.

Había partes en donde pasaba primero una persona con una gran caja de la que salía música y luego personas con trajes y disfraces. No fue en absoluto monótono el desfile, todo lo contrario.

Los niños que desfilaban lo hacían en la mayoría de los casos con sus padres junto a ellos acompañando la carroza y los padres también se disfrazaban.

Fue original esta parte con personas disfrazadas de cartas de póker y pude ver como desfilaban los pianos, esa parte me encantó también. Todo fue al compás de música que se desprendía de esas pequeñas cajas que van por delante de cada presentación.

Mucho color, diseño, originalidad y eso despertaba la alegría de niños y adultos también. Porque mirando el desfile había muchas personas grandes también, a veces acompañando a los menores y en otros casos como yo, apreciando todo este espectáculo grandioso. Cuando trabajo e imaginación en la elaboración de cada traje, carroza y los personajes.

There were parts where first there was a person with a big box with music coming out of it and then people in costumes and fancy dress. The parade was by no means monotonous, quite the contrary.

The children parading were mostly with their parents with them accompanying the float and the parents also dressed up in costumes.

It was original this part with people dressed up as poker cards and I could see how the pianos paraded, I loved that part too. Everything went to the beat of the music coming out of those little boxes in front of each presentation.

Lots of colour, design, originality and that awakened the joy of children and adults too. Because watching the parade there were many grown-ups too, sometimes accompanying the children and in other cases, like me, appreciating the whole grandiose spectacle. When work and imagination went into the elaboration of each costume, float and character.

Un corazón gigante surcaba los cielos desde uno de esos gigantes y fue hermoso verlo acercarse a mí y luego tenerlo a la vista justo debajo.

Los distintos bailes y personajes se sucedían. Sus trajes eran maravillosos, muy bien elaborados. Siempre pienso en el trabajo, dedicación y el tiempo que ha llevado planear todo este evento. Es una pena que por el mal clima se hayan suspendido los que correspondieron al fin de semana pasado.

Por supuesto me encontré con Batman y con Wolverine, me encantaron esos personajes. Había muchos más, pero me enfoque en ellos.
Y me despido de este gran y fabuloso evento con ellos dos.

A giant heart was soaring through the skies from one of those giants and it was beautiful to see it coming towards me and then to have it in view just below.

The different dances and characters followed one after the other. Their costumes were wonderful, very well crafted. I always think of the work, dedication and time it has taken to plan this whole event. It's a pity that due to the bad weather the ones that corresponded to last weekend were cancelled.

Of course I met Batman and Wolverine, I loved those characters. There were many more, but I focused on them.
And I say goodbye to this great and fabulous event with those two.
