A Birthday Party With An Airsoft Gun Shooting

Throughout the years, I have made a lot of interactions with different kinds of people, some of them I befriended and some became my foes unfortunately. Kind of unbelievable when I think about it now, I'm truly wondering how I made it when I'm such an introverted person. Now, even my family would't believe if I'm actually like that. For some reasons, I've made lots of circles, the kind of friends which I'm forever grateful with.

But on this particular day, I went out with my friends from our Rescue organization. Our buddy was celebrating his birthday and we were invited. For him, we clocked off early to spend more time chatting and have fun with the birthday celebrant. Always have loads to catch up since we don't see each other that much.

Together with @kjl26 and Sir @huntersmoon as our squad leader, we looked for his house while following the map provided. We know very well that we have taken up a Map Reading topic in the military but we still got lost anyway, a few blocks away from the actual location. Even have knocked on somebody's door, yet it's okay, we laughed our heart out with that mischief. Gladly, the owner of the house told us the correct location when we asked. Maybe, we could have knocked several houses of strangers later before we could have found the real one.

No further mistakes on the second try, thanks to that kind neighbor of them. We have said our greetings as we walked in, and we had been served with snacks. Since we came earlier than the party time, we were handed with an Airsoft M4 Rifle and a hand gun by the birthday celebrant to entertain ourselves while waiting for the other guests. And of course, our eyes were sparkling with delight!

I've always wanted to fire a gun again after that Firing Familiarization Training we had at the firing range months ago. Once wasn't enough, I'm craving to try more. That kind of activity is a stress reliever, I want to gather all of the things that is frustrating me and stressing me out, load it in a gun, shoot it in a place where it could never come back to me.

Firing for a few rounds and hitting those little targets at the distance has been very satisfying. If permitted, we could have used up all of the bullets. However, as a respect to the owner, we have had left him some, but made the base of the rifle that hot when we handed it back. We had heard no complaints from him. He was too kind to be happy seeing us enjoying ourselves with his Airsoft gun. We even joked if there would be next time, and he just laughed. Now, I'm not sure if there is or not. Even so, I'm still looking forward to it.

And the most awaited moment came, the expected guests had arrived and the party had begun. The others were singing in the karaoke and the others were busy chatting with their relatives and close friends. A little while later, we prayed together for our friend's family and for the food served, sang him a birthday song, and the feast had finally started.

It wasn't all about the food why we came even though we're much of a foodie but because we value the camaraderie and we wished him the best from the bottom of our hearts. Moments like that don't often came to me. Actually, I have to wait for weeks or months before I could go out with my friends again. That's why, moments like that have to be cherished in every second of it and be treasured for life.
