Last session, we hosted the Connect, Learn and Earn Podcast on X (Formerly Twitter) through the Hive Learners Account. Below is an overview of the session.

The session started at 3 p.m. GMT+1, and we had quite a number of people that attended the session.

In the meeting, we had @trojan1 @nkemakonam89 @quduus1 @rare-gem @emrysjobber to discuss about the articles they shared

The first speaker for this session was @emrysjobber, who talked about promoting Hive and letting people know about the opportunities. He mentioned that it is his responsibility to let people know about the available earning opportunities on Hive since he has benefited from the platform. From his experience doing this, he noticed that people mostly ask him what his gain (referral bonus) for introducing them to Hive. He mentioned that people don't stay long after they come on to the hive, as he has a relatively small number of people still active compared to the total he had onboarded. The next speaker was @rare-gem, who spoke about her tribe having believed that their parents were mini-gods during their childhood. While growing up, she tried her best to obey her parents' advice. She gave two cases with her parents, in which the first case was when she did not listen to her parents and things did not turn out well, while in the second case, things turned out well even when she did not also listen to her parents. @nkemakonam89 came next on stage to talk about her post titled "Apology Dilemma." She says people should apologise immediately when they do something wrong in order to avoid unnecessary drama and for peace to reign. She gave the example of her mom, who always apologised for everything, not bothering who is wrong or right, for the same purpose of peace. She shared a personal story with her grandma about how she was taken advantage of for always apologising, even when it was not her fault. @quduus1 came up to talk about the importance of dressing to look good not only for themselves but for others as our appearance determines the way we would be addressed. He shared an experience of a people that he had met and how badly he dressed. Click here to read more about this post.

@trojan1 discussed his country, where prices go up and never come down. He said he was inspired by an event that occurred at his location when the prices of gasoline went up, and immediately the prices of transportation went up. Then went it got to the moment that gasoline price went down, the prices of transportation was not reduced to its previous price. 1. Share your post link to the forum. You can only share a single post.
2. Provide links of posts that are no more than 18 hours old by the time we go live on Twitter Space (Every Wednesday, 3 PM GMT+1)
3. It is important to engage with other posts by authors shared in the forum.
4. Sharing your post link means you will be present during the space to discuss the post you shared.
