EXTRAÑO CONCURSO N° 35 / El hechizo de la noche de San Juan (Spa-Eng)

Esa noche de San Juan, mientras bailaba junto al fuego, Juana le pidió al santo que la ayudase a salir adelante con su negocio. Debido a la pandemia no había tenido clientes en su posada durante un año, no había visitantes en la playa, salvo algunos jóvenes del pueblo. Sus pocos ahorros se consumían, y no tenía marido que pudiera apoyarla, su madre ya anciana y sus hijos, aún adolescentes, dependían de ella.

Juan Pedro, un nómada digital español, había quedado atrapado durante la pandemia del Covid 19 en la isla de Margarita, en Venezuela. Felizmente, como su trabajo no era presencial, continuó sus asesorías por internet, nunca había tenido tantos clientes. Le escribían constantemente personas que necesitaban aprender a optimizar sus habilidades para ofrecer sus servicios a través de las redes sociales.

Cuando Juana le escribió solicitando asesoría le pareció una mujer muy guapa. La pandemia llegaba a su fin y Juana quería aprender herramientas para promocionar su posada en la costa venezolana. Lo invitó a visitarla y le ofreció un descuento especial. Sin embargo, cuando Juan Pedro llegó con su 1,80 de estatura y sus ojos azules le sorprendió verlo y le pareció mucho más guapo que en video. El santo le había cumplido. Al verla el nómada español suṕo que ya no estaría más de un lugar a otro, de un país a otro, buscando no sabía qué. Había encontrado el destino de su viaje. Con su apoyo la posada pronto se llenó de clientes, en adelante ni Juana ni su familia estuvieron solos.

Because of the pandemic she had had no customers at her inn for a year, there were no visitors to the beach, except for a few young people from the village. Her few savings were being consumed, and she had no husband to support her, her elderly mother and her children, still in their teens, were dependent on her.

Juan Pedro, a Spanish digital nomad, had been trapped during the Covid 19 pandemic on Margarita Island in Venezuela. Fortunately, as his work was not face-to-face, he continued his online consulting, never having had so many clients. People who needed to learn how to optimize their skills to offer their services through social networks were constantly writing to him.

When Juana wrote to him asking for advice, he thought she was a very beautiful woman. The pandemic was coming to an end and Juana wanted to learn tools to promote her posada on the Venezuelan coast. She invited him to visit her and offered him a special discount. Upon seeing her the Spanish nomad suṕo that he would no longer be from one place to another, from one country to another, looking for he knew not what. He had found the destination of his journey. With his support the inn was soon filled with customers, henceforth neither Juana nor her family were alone.
