For the past 15yrs i left home and have been living as tenant in someone's house so i have had sooo many neighbors, but one is exceptional she's not just a neighbor but a sister.

Everyday of my life i keep wondering if someone like my neighbor still exists, but its obvious that good people are still on this earth.

Who's she? The good neighbor.

Am from the Eastern part of Nigeria (Igbo tribe) She's from the western side which is the Yoruba's , we are not worshiping in the same place, and i haven't meet her before in my life till when i moved into that compound, a compound that had 19 tenants.

When i first moved in I looked at her like someone who is not too easy going and that is same way other people sees her but gradually i decided to make her my friend and see what will be the outcome, honestly i don't regret my step.

Have you seen a neighbor that paid hospital bills for her neighbor?
Have you seen neighbor that helps her neighbor during financial crisis and she didn't just help but didn't look for refund?
Have you seen a neighbor, just neighbor that borrowed fellow neighbor almost 1m Naira without giving her dead line to pay?.

I know you will be wondering are all this things for real, yes they are, she turned from a neighbor to my sister in need and in deed that i never imagined.

After few months of marriage i started experiencing serious stomach pain and i had no job and money, my Ex husband was promising me today and tomorrow, then i have started getting little close to this my beautiful neighbor.

Shes in her late 40's and not married yet.

So I started looking for a job when i got one, this pain couldn't allow me concentrate, when day i was bundled back home from work due to the pain I was facing, she wasn't around when i came back, when she came back and saw that i was home earlier than usual, she rushed to my door and called me the way she always call me Adaakuu Dakuu, i couldn't answer due to pain, she opened my door and saw me on the floor, she quickly came in and asked what the problem is.

I told her is same stomach, she asked me what my husband is doing , and i told him he said he's coming but i haven't seen him, immediately she dropped her bag and rushed me to the hospital.

When we got there she paid deposit, paid for hospital card and scan, that was when i was diagnosed of endometriosis stage three which was the cause of the pain am always feeling.

After everything she paid off the hospital and brought me home, subsequent visits she will give me money for my drugs while the doctors where looking for solution.

She didn't stop at that.

When my mother wanted to visit with my brother who has been sick for some years, i told her and to my greatest surprise she bought foodstuffs for my mother, during my mothers stay i ran out of cash due to a whole lot of expenses she gave me money without asking me when i will refund her.

My mother will always pray for her because if the way she was always during so many crisis that i have faced.

She gave me the surprise of My life.

As if all I have said was not okay she surprised me the more,
This was when i had to leave my home /marriage, the only option left was to go back to my village since i had no money to get an apartment and i have been droven out of the house.
That was the most shocking period of my life, the people I thought was family members left me all to myself.
A mere stranger just a neighbor showed me extraordinary kindness.

She just asked me to look for an apartment, in my head am like i don't have money how will i pay, but she kept on forcing me to look for an apartment, finally i got one but i have to pay for two years rent and other things that moved the money to almost a million naira.
I reluctantly came home and went into her room, she asked me how far and i updated her, the next thing I got alert of the exact amount for the rent.

I was very happy but i was still wondering how to pay back when she will need it but when i asked her she told me i should try my best, that she not pressing me for anything, and till date she hasn't said anything, but am working hard to put smile on her face.

My fellow content creators she is just a neighbor.

She also gave me her wardrobe and sofa that cost over 300k Naira, and she kept supporting me both financially and otherwise.

Immediately i moved from that compound she also decided to move to an estate which was far better than where she was staying.

Till this minute she has been supportive, she's one in a million, i love her so much.

My new neighbors.

I have new neighbors in my new apartment, they also nice tho i have just little contact with them if not for the children that will always say hii, they are also good people because they will always check up on me especially days that i am battling with pains, they will want to see how they can be of help.

I would say that I have enjoyed what it means to have good neighbors, they will be a sister you never expected.
