Drawing consistency. Ecency star prompt

Happy new year ecency-star and pleasant greetings to you all.

The year 2024 is already fourteen days gone. So many of us might have penned down one or two goals to be achieved this year and the hustle and grinding to achieve it is from this very first month. It is said that preparation is the mother of manifestation and failure to plan is planning to fail. These statements are quite true, hence the need to do what we need to do to get what we need.

Setting goals is important as it gives one a focus throughout the year. You know what you are striving for and what you hope to achieve. Goals should not necessarily be numerous, in fact one can have just a gola to be achieved and focus on achieving that one goal this year.

I have a list of things lined up to be achieved this year both online and offline and it would bring me immense happiness if I am able to tick them as* done and dusted* on my list but the number one goal for 2024 is to draw consistency

What I mean is, as a content creator, I want to carve a niche for myself here on the block chain. I am glad I found a platform like hive where I get to share my views respectfully and also get to meet interesting people from around the world and I have since come to the realization that hive needs diligence and consistency of operations to scale higher.

I got this inspiration of consistency from a friend I met here, @princessbusayo. She wrote about ohow she was consistent in writing quality contents for 365 days last year. I was literally blown away because I know the amount of effort required to come up with a 500+ word posts (except one just wants to put rubbish out there, which would not be quite right).

This lady's stamina provoked something in me , that I can be better. A better writer, a better hivian and all that. So my number one goal for 2024 is to improve as a content creator on hive. I will achieve this goal by..

*Posting quality content daily.
*Regular and consistent engagement on the block chain.
*Participating in community contests and threads.
*Giving back to the ecosystem by contributing my quota each HPUD.

All these listed above might seem pretty easy but we must know that Rome was not built in a day and had there not been consistncy of purpose, then Rome would have been abandoned halfway.

There will be days when I would not feel like writing anything or where the given prompts don't sit well with me. There will be days of writer's block or failure to post due to an ill health. Whichever and whatever happens, I hope to deliver my very best and to appreciate my efforts and little wins towards achieving this goal. The deal for me is consistent improvement. I want to look back to this date and say "yes I've improved now" and pat myself on the back.

Thus far I have been on this path steadily from January first. I hope it continues till we mark a new calendar year.
