France....the home of love and art

Life can be quite funny sometimes. I have often heard that you never get everything you wish for and so you have to make the most out of life. Most people complain about where they are and where they wish they could be or would prefer to be.

I feel that having a great place to unwind the latter years of life, after the stress of hustling for many years to make ends meet is dope.

My country of choice, without missing a beat is France. France is not only a country with one of the world's thriving economies as it deals in trade of wine and food, beauty products, pharmaceutical products, vehicles and much more. It is also a country that has a rich and deep cultural heritage. Come take a ride with me as I get you acquainted to the beauty of FRANCE.

THINGS I LOVE ABOUT FRANCE.

ATMOSPHERE.

The atmosphere in France is quite lively and aesthetic. There is never a full moment in France. At night, the city seems to come alive on it's on and it creates a romantic ambience for those lovers who are nocturnal.

Did you know that the Eiffel tower from dusk till about 11pm sparkles from 5 minutes every hour on the hour? Interesting right?

CAPITAL CITY

Ooh la-la, what should I say about the capital city of France which happens to be Paris (pronounced as paree). Paris Is known and called the city of love. For all the romantic at hearts like me. Paris is your first stop for all your romantic cravings, hehe.

Paris is not just the city of love for nothing, certain landmarks attest to this, such as the Eiffel tower, the love lock bridge,Temple of love, Notre Dame cathedral and the I love you wall.
These are beautiful places to visit especially for couples as it boosts the romantic aura of your relationship and strengthens the bond. Also Paris is the most preferred honeymoon destination (do I hear wedding bells already).

FOOD
oh, don't get me started on the food. France is home to a lot of mouth watering cuisines,recipes and good wine.

As a matter of fact, two cook books are released on a daily basis. How cool is that.

The people of France don't joke with food. There's a law against supermarkets and restaurants throwing food away even if it's best before date is close. Supermarkets and restaurants are advised to donate those foods to orphanages and homes with needs. This has helped to curb hunger greatly.isn't that a good way to aid foodies.😁😁

RICH CULTURAL HERITAGE AND LOVE FOR ARTS

France is one country that has done well to uphold it's cultural heritage. The motto of France is LIBERTY, EQUALITY AND FRATERNITY. This is reflected in the people and their mannerism of interactions with each other. Each citizen is inculcated to treat others fairly and cherish family.
The spirit of solidarity is greatly uphold among the French people.

France is also one country that has the highest amount of Nobel prize winners for literature. Stories like the hunch back of Notre Dame originated from France.

The largest art museum known as the Louvre museum is also found in France. Facts have it that if you were to spend 30 seconds to stare at one artifact, it would take you 100 days to see all the arts in the museum (wow).

So if you're an art lover, France is your best stop for amazing arts and you also get to meet other creative artistes as well.

THE LANGUAGE

The national and official language for France is French and of course the people of France take their language seriously. French is also regarded as one of the sexiest languages of the world. The accent is so ear-catching and romantic. It tingles.

So when I say bonjour to you or excusez moi, pardon, oui and merci beaucoup, I'm not out of place at all hehe.

ANCIENT SPORTS AND SLOW PACE

There's a famous annual cycling race known as tour de France. This sports dates back to about a century ago and is still recognized till date.

Then we have the slow pace attribute to life in France, which affords one the opportunity to pause and appreciate the natural and aesthetic beauty found all over France.

Hence,the people adopted the slogan.Life is beautiful. This helps them appreciate and value the beautiful things around them more. It is said that this goes to increasing creativity.
