Teaching a meanie..... Neoxian prompt #15.

Sandra is the new girl at my school, a transfer student, tall, slim and fair skinned. In just 6 months she had already bewitched the entire senior students with her fake charms. Yes, I said fake charms because I could always see her sinister smile when she thought no one was looking. Plus Carol, my bestie, says she gets wierd vibes around her.

" Well as long as she stays clear of my path, we'll be alright" I thought but fate had other plans.

While Carol and I were munching on some chips dipped in buffalo sauce at our favourite spot behind the science lab, a shrill scream coming from inside the science laboratory caught us off guard. Puzzled, we both ran to see what was going on and that was when we saw Trisha, sobbing in a corner of the lab.

"Hey Trisha, what happened to you and why are you crying" I asked her.

"It was a cockroach. I found it in my bag pack just as I was about to keep my assignments in it. The cockroach jumped at me and I screamed" she narrated amidst her sobs.

"It's alright Trisha, one of the roaches could have escaped their confinement" I tried placating her but she shook her head vigourously and said "no, this is Sandra's doing. She told me she would get me for scoring an A+ in the maths test and she was also the last to leave the lab before I came to close it, so I'm sure that this is her doing".

I looked up at Carol and she nodded affirming that she's on my page. "Don't worry Trisha, we are going to handle her. It's time she has a taste of her own medicine" I replied with a mean smirk.

Sending Trisha on her way, I turned to Carol "we need to teach her a lesson. She can't just go about bullying others whenever she wants. I've got a plan but I'm gonna need your help to execute it". *"Count me in" Carol replied and that was when we set the ball rolling.

We chose a perfect day to deliver justice, the April fool's day. That was the one day in the school when students could get away with their pranks.

Fast forward to April fool's day

A hysterical scream was heard in the hall way. Students gathered to see what was up and behold it was *miss goody two shoes, looking fearful and pointing at something on the floor. Eyes followed her fingers and everyone saw that a snake was moving ever so slowly towards her.

"Increase it's pace " I texted Carol and the next minute the snake picked up momentum towards Sandra, who continued backing away till she ran on her heels out of the school and probably to her house.

The whole students who witnessed the scene burst into laughter and dispersed to their class to begin spreading the news with others.

I walked towards the snake that has stopped moving since Sandra ran away and picked it up. Just then, Carol came out behind one of the lockers and we both started laughing. The snake was actually a toy placed in front of the Sandra's class at the right time, who told her to have "ophidiophobia" hmm. Remembering her scared face made us laugh some more.

"Serves her right" I said as I high fived Carol and walked into the music room for our lessons.

"Who knows, Sandra might transfer again" Carol said.

"That might be the case but whatever happens I'm sure she's been taught a lesson today" I replied with a broad smile plastered on my face, my violin in hand ready for the teacher's instructions.
