Hello, hello friends food lovers I wish you are well and have a great week together with your loved ones, this will be my entry for the Qurator's: Hive Top Chef: / Old Recipes, many ideas came to my mind to prepare an old recipe and I opted for the version of Chinese rice Venezuelan style, with sautéed chicken with garlic and pea pods, this ancient culture has prersence in the country for several years and many of their dishes have been added to the menu of several homes, creating delicious combinations of flavors with local ingredients and the personal touch of each family, at home we like this dish with zahahoria as star ingredient for the sweet and crunchy touch that brings.

Hola, hola amigos amantes de la comida deseo se encuentren bien y tengan una excelente semana en unión de sus seres queridos, esta será mi entrada para el Qurator's: Hive Top Chef: / Old Recipes, muchas ideas vinieron a mi mente para preparar una antigua receta y opté por la versión de arroz chino al estilo venezolano, con pollo salteado al ajillo y vainitas, esta cultura milenaria tiene prersencia en el país hace varios años y muchos de sus platillos han sido agregados al menú de varios hogares, creando deliciosas combinaciones de sabores con ingredientes locales y el toque personal de cada familia, en casa nos gusta este platillo con zahahoria como ingrediente estrella por el dulce y toque crocante que aporta.

Chicken breast (250 gr)
Rice (2 cups)
Onion(1)
Paprika (1)
Carrot (1)
Chives (1 branch)
Garlic (1 sprig)
Soybean oil (30 ml)
Chili (3)
Pea pods (6)
Garlic (7)
Soy sauce
Worcestershire sauce

INGREDIENTES

Pechuga de pollo (250 gr)
Arroz (2 tazas)
Cebolla(1)
Pimentón (1)
Zanahoria (1)
Cebollín (1rama)
Ajo porro (1rama)
Aceite de soya (30 ml)
Ají (3)
Vainitas (6)
Ajo (7)
Salsa de soya
Salsa inglesa

PROCEDURE

Once the ingredients were organized, I took the rice to the stove, added salt to taste, five (5) cups of water, 1 tablespoon of oil and let it cook for approximately twenty (20) minutes over medium heat, when it finished cooking I removed and set aside.

Organizados los ingredientes llevé a la estufa el arroz, agregué sal al gusto, cinco (5) tazas de agua, una (1) cuchara de aceite y dejé en cocción durante aproximadamente veinte (20) minutos a fuego medio, al terminar la cocción retiré y reservé.

Then I cut the chicken into cubes, added the crushed garlic, oil and sautéed for ten (10) minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly to achieve uniform cooking.

Luego corté el pollo en cubos, agregué los ajos pisados, aceite y salteé durante diez (10) minutos a fuego medio removiendo constantemente para lograr una cocción uniforme .

I sautéed the chicken, washed the vegetables with water and vinegar, removed the seeds, shells and cut them into strips, cubes and slices.

Salteado el pollo, lavé los vegetales con agua y vinagre, retiré las semillas, conchas y corté en tiras, cubos y rodajas.

I put the pea pods on the fire, cooked until they softened a little (al dente), removed and cut.

Llevé las vainitas al fuego, cociné hasta ablandar un poco (al dente), retiré y corté.

Then I sautéed the vegetables in plenty of oil, added the chicken, salt to taste and stirred with the help of a paddle until combined.

Luego sofreí los vegetales en abundante aceite, agregué el pollo, sal al gusto y removí con ayuda de una paleta hasta integrar.

To the sautéed chicken and vegetables I added the rice, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and mixed with a paddle until the ingredients and flavors were integrated, I removed and plated.

Al sofrito de pollo y vegetales agregué, el arroz, salsa inglesa,salsa de soya y mezclé con una paleta hasta integrar los ingredientes y sabores, retiré y emplaté

To prepare this recipe, it is customary to cook the rice at least three (3) hours in advance and let it rest. There are even those who take it to the refrigerator or prepare it the day before to achieve a firmer and crunchier consistency when sautéing with the rest of the ingredients. ingredients; It is simple to prepare and vegetables and proteins can be added according to each person's taste.

Para preparar esta receta se acostumbra cocinar el arroz al menos tres (3) horas antes y dejarlo en reposo, incluso hay queienes lo llevan a la nevera o lo preparan el día anterior para lograr una consistencia más firme y crujiente al sofreir con el resto de ingredientes; es sencillo de preparar y se pueden añadir los vegetales y proteínas de acuerdo al gusto de cada persona.
