INGLÉS

Visiting the museum of the sea again was a nice experience, it is divided into several areas and I like to observe carefully each space to detail the elements that make up the museum, this time my attention was focused on the area of bones, the guide explained that assembling these skeletons requires time and dedication by a specialist through a long process called Osteotechnics, When I saw the bones of the whale I could not believe how big these animals are, the bones on display correspond to the Tropical Rorqual Whale, which according to the information on the poster can measure between twelve (12) and fifteen (15) meters long in the body, so far I have only seen the whales in documentaries and photos and they are really amazing animals of great size.

The skull is also of a considerable size, as well as the bones of the fins, advancing in this area I observed the bones of several fish, one of them with a shape similar to a cup, also the common dolphin, among others; while observing I wondered how did they assemble each bone in the corresponding place? definitely those who perform this work must have extensive knowledge in the area and dedicate many hours to assemble each small bone and get the shape of the animal.

I loved the visit to the museum and learning a little about their conservation process.

This has been my entry to Phone Photography Contest N° 24, moderated by @untilwelearn

Those are huge~!!! I haven't seen huge bones like these in person. The museums nearby are just historical and/or art-related ones. xDDD

Hi @harulovesanime, it's the first time I've seen such long bones, the museum offers extensive information about whales and other animals, I hope to see a whale soon.

The skeleton is very large, some people are frightened by the sight of it.

I am sure this visit must have been very exciting, and indeed it is admirable to put each bone in its rightful place. :)
