Hello, Internet people. Although one of the most representative things of Venezuela is the Angel Falls in the Canaima National Park and although I consider like every Venezuelan that it is beautiful and I feel very proud of it, it is not exactly my favorite place. Personally, I love both, beaches and mountains (and not so much the jungle) so my two favorite places in Venezuela are any beautiful beach in the country (which fortunately has too many) and Merida.

Merida is one of the Andean states of the country, it is a wooded and cold place where in fact there is snow in its mountains and some other occasion it has even snowed in its cities below. Merida has beautiful forests, lagoons, a moor and one of my favorite places, the mirror peak.

I went once as a child and I fell in love (the photos are not in digital and one of my aunts with whom I went has them all) I dream of going again sometime and visit the places I didn't go. At that time I went to "Los Aleros park", it is in the mountains and its theme is paranormal, so while you go on a guided tour of the park in a trolley, there are workers that scare you and it is very funny, there are also houses of terror and there are also many sheep that you can interact with. At the end of the tour of one of those houses at the top of one of the high hills, you can return down some stairs or in a more fun way, in a long slide (or at least that's how it was when I went).

Another thing I love about Mérida are the "dulces abrillantados" which are desserts made with milk and sprinkled with sugar (hence the name because the sugar makes them shine) they are really sweet but very tasty.

And how not to talk about my state? Carabobo has one of the most beautiful ports and coastal area, its beaches are beautiful and both for taking pictures and swimming, are spectacular.

It has the historic center of Puerto Cabello (which you can see in the photos), has nice cafes and is a very safe area to walk around and admire. The boardwalk is one of the meeting areas for many people returning from the beach to continue the party, and is that previously was allowed to stay overnight on the beaches of Venezuela but now is not, so people when they leave the beach, is parked along the boardwalk to listen to music, drink a couple of drinks and enjoy the beautiful views. There are also kids who like to skate around the area. Also in the squares there are activities for children, parks or painting workshops.

But if we talk about beaches in the state, one of my favorites is "Playa Sonrisa", (Smile beach) it is a beach with extremely gentle waves (thanks to a breakwater wall) is a fairly quiet environment where children can swim with all tranquility and its sand is quite soft. I love this beach.

In addition it also has a castle of approximately the years of 1700, the Solano fort, a fort that served as a vigil point and prison, quite imposing and that has the best views of the city of Puerto Cabello.

I am extremely in love with my country and if I were asked where I would like to be born again .no matter what I would choose Venezuela.

Hola, gente de Internet. Aunque una de las cosas más representativas de Venezuela es el Salto Ángel en el parque nacional Canaima y aunque considere como todo Venezolano que es precioso y me siento muy orgullosa, no es precisamente mi lugar preferido. En lo personal, amo tanto las playas como las montañas (y no tanto la selva) así que mis dos lugares preferidos de Venezuela son cualquier playa hermosa del país (que por fortuna tiene demasiadas) y Mérida.

Mérida es uno de los estados Andinos del país, es un lugar boscoso y frío donde de hecho hay nieve en sus montañas, y alguna que otra ocasión ha incluso nevado en sus ciudades que están más abajo. Mérida posee hermosos bosques, lagunas, un páramo y uno de mis lugares preferidos, el pico espejo.

Fui una vez siendo niña y quedé enamorada (las fotos no están en digital y las tiene una tía con la que fui) sueño con volver a ir alguna vez y visitar los lugares a los que no fui. En aquel momento fui al parque "Los Aleros", está en las montañas y su temática es lo paranormal, así que mientras vas en visita guiada al parque en un carrito, hay trabajadores que te asustan y es muy gracioso y divertido, asimismo hay casas del terror y también hay muchas ovejas con las que puedes interactuar. Al finalizar el recorrido de una de esas casas que esta en la cima de una de las altas colinas, puedes retornar abajo a través de unas escaleras o de forma más divertida, en un tobogán bastante largo (o al menos así era cuando fui)

Otra de las cosas que amo de Mérida son los "dulces abrillantados" los cuales son postres hechos a base de leche y están espolvoreados con azúcar (de ahí el nombre, ya que el azúcar los hace brillar) son realmente muy dulces pero muy sabrosos.

¿Y como no hablar de mi Estado? Carabobo posee uno de los puertos y zona costera más hermoso, sus playas son preciosas y tanto para hacer fotos como para nadar, son espectaculares.

Tiene el casco histórico de Pto Cabello (que pueden ver en las fotos), tiene lindos cafés y es una zona muy segura para transitar y admirar. El malecón es de las zonas de encuentros de muchas personas que regresan de la playa para seguir la fiesta, y es que anteriormente se permitía pernoctar en las playas de Venezuela pero ahora no, así que la gente cuando ya deja la playa, se estaciona a lo largo del malecón a oír música, beber un par de copas y disfrutar de las hermosas vistas. También hay chicos que les gusta patinar por el área. Además en las plazas hay actividades para los niños, parques o talleres de pintura.

Pero si hablamos de playas del Estado, una de mis preferidas es Playa Sonrisa, es una playa con un oleaje extremadamente suave (gracias a un muro rompeolas) es un ambiente bastante tranquilo donde pueden nadar niños con toda tranquilidad además su arena es bastante suave. Amo esa playa.

Además también tiene un castillo de aproximadamente los años de 1700, el fortín Solano, un fuerte que servía de punto de vigilia y de prisión, bastante imponente y que cuenta con las mejores vistas de la ciudad de Pto Cabello.

Estoy sumamente enamorada de mi país, y si me preguntaran donde quiero nacer de nuevo, sin importar volvería a elegir a Venezuela.
