Welcome to another edition of the Art&3D series I am very exited about todays edition because this piece also ties in to my love for precious metals, so lets get into it !

The Art

With my affinity for that shiny like I mentioned above this was an easy pick it's a beautiful piece and what we got here is a 5th Century Dekadrachm of Syracuse silver coin set in a gold mount during the medieval time scanned from the real deal in the Irish Hunt Museum

This is based on a real coin you can see the stats below, it's very rare and only reproduction are available for sale

The Print

Was fairly easy to print I made it about 2 times bigger than the original because I wanted to insure the bail would not be too thin, you can see below I printed it with tree supports those get broken off after the print is done and I also used a raft it's like a 3d printed platform that helps with bed adhesion and is also broken off at the end of the print.
I used some silk Dual color PLA filament it's supposed to be silver and gold I think it turned out pretty neat one side is silver and the other is gold.
