#pic1000" Amed's Journey to Success
I see a person looking like a Muslim praying on the busy city street surrounded by tall buildings and a bird flying around the buildings.
I sense that the city is in a cold-temperate region, judging by the attire of the man on the street and it looks frustrated or spiritual. It appears that there are fewer activities happening on the street, as only a few individuals are walking around. It could also be nighttime.
MY STORY
Amed decided to leave his hometown in search of greener pastures three months after losing 90 percent of the birds on his farm to bird flu. Despite the great loss and being a hardworking young graduate from the university, he searched for a good job for two years. When employment opportunities didn't materialize, he decided to become self-employed and started a poultry business. Gradually, the small local poultry farm grew into a large operation until bird flu struck the entire community. With dreams in his heart and hope in his eyes, he embarked on a journey to the city.
Upon arriving in the city, Amed realized that urban life was not as easy as he had imagined. His friend Monday, who had been in the city, couldn't accommodate him because he lived in a one-room apartment with a lady and two children. Amed struggled to find work and a place to stay. Despite his best efforts, finding a job proved challenging. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, and he found himself sleeping on the cold streets, praying for a destiny helper since returning to the village was his last option.
After working odd jobs during the day, he would wait for people to go to sleep and then go to the finest streets with magnificent buildings, laying his head down on the hard pavement, staring up at the stars, and affirming positively that soon his creator would remember him and he would become a landlord, not a frustrated street dweller.
One fateful day, a good Samaritan named Jimmy, who had noticed Amed's plight, decided to help him. Jimmy offered Amed a place to stay, warm meals, and, most importantly, a job opportunity at his cement industry.
Amed worked tirelessly at the industry proving himself to be a dedicated and hardworking employee. After one year, Amed was promoted to Manager of the industry, and Jimmy, recognizing his dedication and hard work, gifted him a car and his own apartment.
As years passed, Amed did not forget the kindness that Jimmy had shown him during his darkest days. He promised to be as kind-hearted as Jimmy and never stopped helping the poor and giving hope to the hopeless.
Thanks for passing by.
I am happy Ahmed did not forget the more than kindness Jimmy treated him with unlike his friend who let him sleep on the street.
How easily people forget who helped them out and even backstab those who helled them to the top of the ladder.
Thank you for joining pic1000. 👍
Ahmed was a good and kind. Thanks for your encouragement.
