I remember it like it was yesterday. in school after choir rehearsal in the evening myself and my praise team leader and a brother in the choir we're heading home, on our way, this brother sign and said to my praise team leader, "omoh, I don't have anything in my room to cook and eat this night before going to bead" looking worried and troubled. In my mind I was contemplating how can someone run out of food stuffs completely. But reaching his house I asked him if everything was okay. He hesitated at first, but then opened up to me about his struggles. He had run out of food and was struggling to get by.

Without hesitation, I asked if he could follow me to the hostel and he did, knowing fully well that I only have two pack of superghettle and 400naira left.

Reaching the hostel reached into my pocket and handed him 200 hundred naira and a pack of Superghettle, Even though It wasn't much, but I knew it would make a difference.

As I handed him the money and the pack superghettle, I could see the relief in his eyes. He was overwhelmed with gratitude, and his smile still lingers in my memory. He thanked me profusely, telling me that my help came at a time when he thought he had no one to turn to.

In that moment, I felt a sense of purpose and fulfillment. It was a small act, but it showed me that even in little ways, I could make a difference in someone's life. The brother's reaction made it all the more rewarding. He told me that my help was a reminder that there were still good people in the world, and that he wouldn't forget my kindness. He even went ahead and told my fellowship president to pray for me. Deep within my mind I was like "ahhhh on top wetin no even reach 700 hundred naira😂".

As we sat together, I realized that helping others isn't just about grand gestures, sometimes it's the small acts of kindness that can make a significant impact. I felt happy to be able to help, and the brother's reaction made it all the more rewarding.

From that day on, the brother and I became closer friends. He would often come to me for advice and support, and I was happy to be there for him. Our friendship grew stronger, and I learned that even in small ways, I could make a difference in someone's life.

Looking back, I realize that helping the brother was one of the best things I ever did. It taught me the value of kindness and the importance of being there for others. It showed me that even in small ways, we can make a difference in someone's life. And it reminded me that kindness can have a ripple effect, inspiring others to pay it forward and make a difference in the world around them.
