Medusa. Drawing, fineliner and pointillism techniques/Splinterlands Art Contest SPT 283

Hello my friends I hope you are well 🤗.

Today I present you my participation in the Splinterlands art contest, this time I chose to work on a drawing with the fine liner technique with ink, inspired by the Medusa card, I will present you a part of its history and the process of creation.
The legend of the Gorgons weaves a tapestry of fascination and warning, marking the darkest and most dangerous corners of the ΛZMΛRÉ. In the midst of this marine scenario, Medusa stands out as the only Gorgon who does not hide her presence behind a petrifying power. In a singular act of choice, she reveals herself to others without turning them to stone.

For this drawing I used an A3 block, mechanical pencil #5, eraser and pigment liner.

First I made a sketch with mechanical pencil #5, in my version I made Medusa in a more realistic way in the part of the face and back, the rest I followed a pattern that I saw that I liked a lot.

After I had the sketch ready, I started working with the petite pigment liner pencils, and I began to shape it.

Then I worked on the bottom with a lot of patience, making snake scale shapes.
