TWILIGHT BASILISK. Drawing using the Fineliner technique /Splinterlands Art Contest SPT 284

It's a pleasure to be with everyone in this community @gems to share with you a drawing I made for the Splinterlands weekly art contest, this time I was inspired by the letter "TWILIGHT BASILISK".

This time I made the drawing based on the story of the letter, which is about, that this creature is a super predator, that lives in the sands of Centrum, in Draykh-Nahka. People see them as giant snakes, but some old Dragon Splinters think they are distant cousins of the Dragons. They are the largest snakes in the Splintered Lands and with just a little of their venom they can kill a bronco.

That's why I made this Dragon-faced sea serpent, in my realistic version using pigmented eyeliner without ink pencils with the fine liner technique.

Es un placer estar con todos en esta comunidad @gems para compartir con ustedes un dibujo que he realizado para el concurso semanal de arte de Splinterlands, esta vez me inspire en la carta "TWILIGHT BASILISK".

Esta vez hice el dibujo basándome en la historia de la carta, que trata, de que esta criatura es un superdepredador, que vive en las arenas de Centrum, en Draykh-Nahka. La gente los ve como serpientes gigantes, pero algunos viejos Astillas de Dragón piensan que son primos lejanos de los Dragones. Son las serpientes más grandes de las Tierras Astilladas y con sólo un poco de su veneno pueden matar a un bronk.

Por eso hice esta serpiente de mar con cara de Dragón, en mi versión realista usando delineador pigmentado sin lápices de tinta con la técnica del delineado fino.

To make this work I used mechanical pencil nº 5, eraser and pigment liner (ink).

First I made the sketch with the mechanical pencil, I drew part by part of this drawing taking into account the reference of the letter.

Para realizar esta obra utilicé portaminas nº 5, goma de borrar y pigmento liner (tinta).

Primero hice el boceto con el portaminas, dibujé parte por parte de este dibujo teniendo en cuenta la referencia de la carta.

Once I had my drawing ready I started to work with the pigment liner (ink) using the fine liner technique, I used pencils of 00.5mm, 0.01mm, 0.03 mm, I was giving depth by placing lines and inverted textures in several places of the drawing and I used finer pigment liner to make the parts lighter.

Una vez que tuve mi dibujo listo empecé a trabajar con el liner de pigmento (tinta) utilizando la técnica del liner fino, utilicé lápices de 00,5mm, 0,01mm, 0,03 mm, fui dando profundidad colocando líneas y texturas invertidas en varios lugares del dibujo y utilicé liner de pigmento más fino para hacer las partes más claras.

Once the drawing was finished I was able to digitize this work by scanning it, so I could have it digital for my social networks, and I used Canva pro to frame the main image, with this I say goodbye until another opportunity wishing you all the best in the world.

Una vez terminado el dibujo pude digitalizar este trabajo escaneándolo, para poder tenerlo digital para mis redes sociales, y utilicé Canva pro para enmarcar la imagen principal, con esto me despido hasta otra oportunidad deseándoles todo lo mejor del mundo.
