Jak se tak dívám do svých záznamů, naposledy jsem o pivu psal před měsícem. To je tedy hrubý nedostatek, který musím napravit :-).
Looking through my records, the last time I wrote about beer was a month ago. So this is a gross deficiency that I have to correct :-).
Vzpomínám si, že loni v létě jsem psal o dvou pivech z Kašperských Hor.
Je to asi dva týdny, co jsem se služebně ocitl v sousedství Kašpesrského minipivovaru. Obětoval jsem tedy několik drahocenných minut a vstoupil do pivovarské restaurace, abych si koupil nějaký vzorek na ochutnávku.
Ze tří druhů piv (spousta jich nebyla k dispozici – horko „vyprázdnilo“ sklepy) jsem si vybral dvě.
Výčepní desítku Šplhavec a Herbal ALE.
Je to asi dva týdny, co jsem se služebně ocitl v sousedství Kašpesrského minipivovaru. Obětoval jsem tedy několik drahocenných minut a vstoupil do pivovarské restaurace, abych si koupil nějaký vzorek na ochutnávku.
Ze tří druhů piv (spousta jich nebyla k dispozici – horko „vyprázdnilo“ sklepy) jsem si vybral dvě.

K ochutnávce jsem se dostal až před devíti dny. Bylo to po náročném horkém dni, takže se na mém stole ani nestihlo ohřát :-). Tak tak jsem zaznamenal klasickou čistou vůni chmele, střední nasycenost a lehké tělo. Příjemná hořkost se snoubila se sladem. Pilo se to velmi dobře a rychle :-).
I only got to taste it nine days ago. It was after a hard hot day, so it didn't even have time to warm up on my table :-). So I noticed a classic clean hop aroma, medium saturation and a light body. Pleasant bitterness combined with malt. It was drunk very well and quickly :-).

Příjemná citrusová vůně. V chuti spíše pomelo než grep a příjemná hořkost přidané byliny. Bohužel nemám tak vytříbené chuťové buňky abych poznal, která ze dvou bylin byla do piva přidána. Vše podkreslovala sladová chuť. Pochutnal jsem si :-).
Pleasant citrus scent. The taste is more pomelo than grapefruit and the pleasant bitterness of the added herb. Unfortunately, I don't have the refined taste buds to recognize which of the two herbs was added to the beer. Everything was underlined by the malt taste. I enjoyed it :-).
Tyto dva „vzorky“ mě opět přesvědčili, že stojí zato ochutnat pivo z Kašperského řemeslného minipivovaru. Snad se mi podaří o dovolené někoho přemluvit k výletu do Kašperskách Hor abych mohl zdejší piva ochutnat i čepovaná :-).
These two "samples" convinced me again that it is worth trying the beer from the Kašperský craft minibrewery. Hopefully I will be able to talk someone into taking a trip to Kašperská Hor on vacation so that I can taste the local beers on tap :-).
