Our aim is to support local Hive events and meetups all over the world. One part of this support is by upvotes of posts inside of our community. If you plan an event or you want to write a recap about one you have hosted/attended then feel free to post it inside of our community!
Winter is here and the meetups get less and less - at least here in Northern Europe. But you know what? This is the best time to prepare the next meetup just like our BuzzParty 2024 in Hamburg, Germany. It doesn't have to be big, you don't need a big venue, a projector or any side events.

- a table at a restaurant
- time and fun
simple tasks to create your own meetup:
- decide about a place, restaurant, bar, park, etc.
- Set a date that fits your personal schedule
- Announce the meetup on Hive in the best case into our community
- Wait until we ping all the possible attendees living around the location
- Have fun!
From experience, we can tell that it is absolutely necessary to set the date and location fitting to you and only you without asking the community for suggestions. We know it sounds counter-productive to announce a meetup without asking potential attendees for their personal favourites but such a discussion can take much energy and time that the meetup will never happen at all ;)
Remember, that a meetup is already a meetup when 2 Hivers meet. And 2 people having a good time is a success already :)
