"Undecided"

(Edited)

Certainly indecisions are not good, but when it comes to something related to a meeting or celebration, things go from being stressful to interesting. And I'm sure many of us have been in that scenario where we suddenly want to schedule an outing, do something with friends to share and have a good time. This is when ideas start to come up: a party, going out dancing or something combined as a good meeting to sing Karaoke. Still without defining our destination, we also come up with a variety of suggestions related to drinks and those little snacks that can never be missing.

We are still defining the number of people to share, so while considering certain things, I decided to take a look at the drinks, and suddenly I found myself with three very unique and peculiar options: a known drink, another as a must-have and, finally, a totally unknown but somewhat striking. This is where you have to choose and make a good decision on what to drink, and it should be something that we all generally like. Difficult, isn't it? Maybe if we define the type of outing we will probably be a little clearer with what we are going to choose to drink.

On the one hand we have the Ron Santa Teresa, known and tested by many, something that in itself gives it a slight advantage. This 1796 presentation is the most common, but it is still a very special drink. Something I can mention about this rum is that here in my country there is a hacienda that bears this name and where the whole process and elaboration of this rum is carried out. Even there they make tours for tourists, something that costs between 20 and thirty dollars, a bit expensive but well deserved for such an experience. I hope to be able to reach that amount of money to visit the hacienda and share this experience with all of you 🤗😎.

The second option is Smirnoff. The girls' favorite and if it were up to them, there would be no indecision or discussion here. And is that this presentation of "Green apple" is quite pleasant in terms of taste. Despite being a bit pricey, it is well worth the price and makes up for it with the quality it has. As I understand it, there are at least five Smirnoff flavors that some of my friends and I have had sporadically, but when it comes to a single option, everyone goes for this particular flavor.

And finally we have one that does have something in common and that is that none of us have tried it. It is Caribú, a coconut-flavored white rum that at least caught my curiosity. We really got it into the discussion but it is unlikely that we will decide to buy it because no one has had it, and it would be quite risky to do so and then not like it. Perhaps on a more reserved or intimate occasion if it could be tried, so at least we are left with a small reference here.

So far all I can say is that the type of celebration seems to lean towards Karaoke among friends. And, the drink? It's not easy, so there are still a few days to make a final decision: will Santa Teresa rum win, or will the girls' favoritism for Smirnoff have some influence? There is even the possibility that closer to the appointed day, other options will come out, thus adding more debate to the issue at hand. Undoubtedly, these are the kinds of indecisions that we like to experience, and beyond all, we do it in order to enjoy a pleasant moment in a group, with a delicious drink and in the company of good music 😏.

Epale, my friend @cajiro. Let me tell you that this dilemma is very common in our meetings. I have friends who do drink and when we get together to avoid this problem, each one brings his own drink. Although I don't drink alcohol, I have bought Smirnoff, rosé wine, a can of Caroreña or a bottle of cream punch for my wife from time to time. But, honestly, I'd rather spend that money on a good kilo of meat, hahaha.

I remember when I was young as I don't drink, I was always the designated driver.

Cheers.

This thing about everyone bringing the drink of their choice sounds like a pretty reasonable decision 😊 So now we know who was driving during the outings with your friends 😆😃 Greetings to you buddy 👋

Smirnoff is vodka, not beer. It's even written on its lable.

You're absolutely right my friend @godfish ☺️ And yet many here refer to it as a beer 🙈 will it be because of the presentation??? 🤔Thank you for that detail 🥰👍

Están potentes las bebidas espirituosas, esa reunión será un descontrol una vez que se le suban a la cabeza jaja.

Deberías confiar en la gran reserva de Santa Teresa.

I'm leaning towards the Smirnoff drink for the girls, the Santa Teresa, would be the special edition and the other passed, sweet drinks are not for me and the “mickey mouse” that takes over my being ha,ha,ha,ha... I wouldn't want to be in your shoes deciding to see how crazy the party gets ha,ha,ha,ha...
