My Acts of Kindness even in Hard Times
Greetings my dear people of the #cleanplanet community. I hope we are having great times in our different places of residency.
It's been a while since I have not been very active on Hive. I only manage to overcome school stress most times and make one or two posts some days. I came across the #cleanplanet contest which has brought up a very amazing initiative for us the members. These are the kind of ideas I often consider wise and I am very proud of the different personalities who have made this contest a feasible one.
To go straight to telling everyone what I have for the contest, I would love to break down the theme for this contest which is simply times of kindness acts. What a great theme for us to have a throwback at times we saved souls. I have made a write-up such as this and I guess you love to check it out:

I have two cases to share, of how I have helped others even when I had a pressing need. This doesn't mean I have only helped others twice in my life, these two are the ones I have proof to show.
So let's get down to it:
Helping the Hungry Boys
I can never forget that fateful day I was returning from the market. I saw two young boys who seemed to be twin brothers pushing their wheelbarrow of filled water containers. While I was approaching them, they stopped pushing the wheelbarrow and when I was walking past them, I overheard one of the boys say, "I'm tired of pushing this wheelbarrow, at the end we don't even have hope of food till night". I felt pity for the young boys and I had to sacrifice my savings for them. I decided to walk back home from the market, despite it being sunny that day, I was trying to save my transportation money to buy a Nike shoe which my mates were often showing off.
After I had willingly given them this money to purchase some noodles or any food of their choice, they got a boost from nowhere and with smiles on their faces, they continuously told me, "Thank you, senor, thank you senior, …." They began to push the wheelbarrow even at a faster speed.
Helping my Mate with Transport Fare
One of the days we had our Physics Practical test, it was very unknown to all the students that the practical that day would be the last for the semester. My friend became a victim of emergency spending which led him to lack transport fare. That day was our last day for our Physics Practical and we were told to purchase a file and package our different answer sheets. My friend only came with money for transport back home and since he needed the file urgently, he had to spend his last card. After buying this file, he didn't have money left to pay for his transportation back home.
I had to sacrifice the last money in my account to help my friend back home. The practical began in the early afternoon and ended by late evening, I was very hungry and I planned to use this money to buy some snacks and water to cool myself while riding back home.
But I had to sacrifice my last card which I would have used to quench my hunger for my friend's transport cost. I didn't have transportation problems though, I had my bicycle which I often ride on to and fro when we have classes or tests at Perm Site, our practical venue.
The funny thing here is that kindness is reciprocal, givers never lack and one's act of kindness and charity often pays off in one way or another. I have also had incidents where others have helped me out in difficult times.
This is my entry for the @cleanplanet contest with the theme "BEING THE LIGHT IN SOMEONE ELSE'S TUNNEL".
All the images are mine.
Thanks for reading and I hope my write-up has some impact on every one of my readers.

This is amazing of you. Shows how kind people are in this world.
If we have people like you all over the world, I’m sure the world will be a better place. Selflessness when you see people in need makes one a better person.
Keep up the good work man. I’m sure the reward will be amazing too🫶🏽🫶🏽
The reward is really amazing as you described it.

Those are truly great deeds of kindness. true kindness is being willing to help others even when you need help too.
Yes man!!
You really got my point.
Thanks for checking up on my post. Have a nice day, boss.
This is pretty amazing.
Helping people when you have nothing is actually an act of genuine kindness. this type of kindness is quality that is not possessed by many.
come to think that you fed a hungry stomach even when you needed food.
