WHAT I SEE
I see a man whose upper lumbar region and part of his hands are covered with metal plates and with a sword in his waist. I can see a crown with a blue crystal on his white-haired head. I also see a mirror reflection of this man's face. The tip of the mirror has a design of the man's face and the table on which the mirror is placed are some magical items like a beaded necklace, skull, lighted candles, smaller mirrors and a big red apple. The background reflected from the mirror looks mysterious too. The last thing I see is that in the real image, the man is holding a candle but in the mirror, he's holding a dagger.
WHAT I FEEL
I feel that the man is admiring himself or probably seeing something in the mirror which brings a smile to his face.
My Story
Gad, the king of the mighty kingdom, Atlax was a brave man. Atlax is a kingdom known for its blessings of natural resources like water, gold, metal ores and fruitful lands but it lacked a large and strong army. The neighboring kingdom, Gotta, had a great and powerful army but lacked enough water due to desert encroachment. Gota's land was hard and not advisable for the cultivation of crops but was only good for building blocks and walls.
For years, Gota and Atlax had been in good relationship and often exchanged what they lacked. Gota often exchanged her sand for farm produce and most times Gota would offer some of her soldiers to work in Atlax in exchange for some metal ores. But things turned around when a new king came to power in Gota. The new king of Gota, Asdan was an authoritarian. He never had advisers throughout his reign. He viewed the former king as being a coward and planned on taking up portions of Atlax lands by force since he had a strong army.
Asdan sent a letter to Gad commanding him to order his people to leave particular hectares of land from their boundaries to the inner portion of Atlax, that he wanted it for his kingdom and that any form of disobedience to his command would mean war. Gad, despite the small army he had, he chose war. He knew he had a backup, his god whom he summoned by smiling at his magical mirror.
As the war started from the gates to the city, a lot of Atlaxians were murdered and it seemed like Atlax was going to lose the war but then the god of fire which Gad had summoned by smiling at his magical mirror intervened and consumed the Gato's soldiers. That was how Atlax had victory over Gato and reclaimed their land and some part of Gota's land too.

Looking at the picture, one would know Atlax will be victorious, he was smiling in confidence
Yes👍👍👍
That was a sign of victory already.
Thanks so much for checking up on my post.
You're welcome, that's why we are all here
You create a believable story here @captainman as two opposing kingdoms, Atlax and Gotta, with rulers who have differing opinions on how to run their country comes to odds due to a disagreement. That's usually the way warring factions begin a conflict. Once force seeks to live in peace and establish a mutual bond of friendship and cooperation. Whereas, the other views domination over the seemingly opponent and sometimes others in promixity. The tactic to control is by force. Eventually, the two sides with clash as one seeks to destroy the other and take what is needed instead of seeking a suitable arrangement.
As in real life conflicts, often a third party intervenes to provide leverage to the weak. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing this story in response to the picture prompt.
One thing. You may want to check your story for consistency for names. Example, "Gotta" and "Gota".
Take care.

Yes
You have even made the story more clear to other readers from your comment. You have brought up some hidden facts of the conflicts, resolution and it's real life applications. Thanks so much.
About the consistency, I must work on that. Before I published this work, I corrected those two words, Gota and Gotta several times but my autocorrect feature never allowed it be because, the one with the double 't' is saved in my dictionary. I still thank you so much for stopping by to check on my post.
You are welcome. Keep up the good work. I understand about "autocorrect". Sometimes it can correct itself into an error!
Take care.
Thank you so much, Madam.
They could have used water too just like the Dutchmen did. 👍
Yes!!!!
