Jueves de TBT: Una bella novedad [ENG/ESP]
Hello to everyone in the Top Family community! Today I'm joining today to participate in the TBT Thursday contest. So for this occasion, while going through some pictures from the folders I had on my phone, I came across the one you see on the screen. It was the result of a photo session I had done back in 2022, when I was still living in Valencia and I started to feel a taste for photography. So it was a nice surprise to realise that I had several photographs of this moment. My 25 year old self.
I have never been a model of anything. The idea of starting to take pictures was because here on the Hive platform there was a space to upload all that kind of content and I wanted to learn about it. So little by little I gained confidence to dare to make videos (at first) and then start taking pictures of myself. Honestly I was embarrassed but then I started to like it and I realised that I was good at it. So I started to do it on a regular basis; I was looking for costumes, scenery, make-up and so on to come up with different concepts. So I had enough material to upload content in communities related to the information i had.
It's been several years since that beginning and I have some pictures that I really love. This is one of my favourites and we took it because we were trying to take a song by the band Lacrimosa and the clothes were more or less in that style. I won't lie when I say that in a certain way it lifts my spirits to find myself pretty in those pictures, because I really do. Although I'm a rather reserved person, I know that every now and then it's good to see that kind of goodness in you that doesn't necessarily make you superficial or banal. ¡Hola a todos en la comunidad de Top Family! El día de hoy me uno por aquí para participar en el concurso de Jueves de TBT. Así que para esta ocasión, mientras revisaba algunas fotografías de las carpetas que tenía en el teléfono, me encontré con la que ven en pantalla. La cual fue el resultado de una sesión de fotografías que había realizado por allá en el año 2022, cuando todavía vivía en Valencia y comencé a sentir gusto por esto de la fotografía. Así que fue una bonita sorpresa darme cuenta que tenía varias fotografías de este momento. Mi yo de 25 años apenas.
Nunca he sido modelo de nada. La idea de comenzar a hacer fotografías fue porque acá en la plataforma de Hive había un espacio para subir todo ese tipo de contenido y yo quería aprender sobre ello. Así que poco a poco fui tomando confianza para atreverme a hacer videos (primeramente) y luego comenzar a tomarme fotografías. Sinceramente me daba pena pero luego comencé a tomarle gusto y me dí cuenta de que se me daba bien. Así que comencé a hacerlo de forma habitual; buscaba vestimentas, escenarios, maquillajes y demás para que se dieran conceptos diferentes. Así tenía material suficiente para subir contenido en comunidades relacionadas a la información que tenía.
Ya van varios años de ese comienzo y tengo algunas fotografías que realmente amo. Esta es una de mis favoritas y la sacamos porque buscamos sacar una canción del grupo Lacrimosa y la vestimenta iba más o menos con este estilo. No mentire al decir que en cierta forma me sube un poco los ánimos hallarme bonita en esas fotografías, porque efectivamente así es. Siempre me considere más bien poco agraciada, pero ver esa imagen me hace darme cuenta que estaba equivocada. Aunque soy una persona más bien reservada sé que de vez en cuando es bueno ver en uno ese tipo de bondades que no necesariamente lo hacen a uno superficial o banal.
