Greetings friends of the #LadiesofHive community with this week's edition, where we are invited to reflect with the questions of our esteemed @merit.ahama, here is my participation:

I think that friendship is like a treasure, it is so valuable that it is very hard to find it, and above all to keep it. In friendship there is loyalty and honesty, there must be trust to tell each other the truth and a lot of patience to know how to listen and even to put up with it.

Honesty and loyalty are fundamental to sustain a true friendship and many times, depending on the circumstances and the situations that arise, it is necessary to say things face to face, no matter how hard the truth may be.

This does not mean that doing so makes us cold or insensitive, but it does make us loyal to a friend who is appreciated and loved from the heart.

When I feel the freedom to say things to a friend face to face and she accepts them without taking offence, or vice versa, rather I am grateful, it is because I am valuing the honesty and loyalty of her friendship.

So I can say that having and counting on my friends makes me very happy, and I thank God, because the feelings of friendship are very big because many times we trust our secrets and spend the best moments with our friends, even more than with our relatives.

Because of the way I socialize with people, I can say that I have many friends, as people say, there are many acquaintances, but few reliable friends, because it takes me time to find out what things I have in common with a person and if we can have a conversation or spend a nice time.

I believe that friendship is not only about spending pleasant moments, it is also about knowing how confident we feel when we tell them confidential or intimate things, as well as how much we are willing to listen to them and keep their secrets as our own.

The love of our great friends does not overshadow anything, they are always there for us and of course we must be there for them, there are many things that we take for granted that they will always be there, which prevents us from giving them the attention they deserve, so that in turn they give us what we deserve.

I know I can't see my friends every day, but neither distance nor time can break our friendship, I thank God for having them in my life.

I have always liked to keep everything organised in my house, keeping what I value most in my life and what I don't. Every now and then, usually in the middle of the year, I try to get rid of what I think I no longer use and is taking up space.

I don't like to accumulate things in excess, however, about what old and worn out thing I can't get rid of, I tell you that I have an "ornament" that I made when I worked in the office, and it's because for me it represents a feeling of nostalgia.

I think that each staple that I collected represents those days that turned into years in the workplace and as I have always loved my job, I thank God for having it, I still love that University where today I am part of as retired administrative staff.

Pienso que la amistad es como un tesoro, es tan valiosa que cuesta mucho encontrarla, y sobre todo mantenerla. En la amistad hay lealtad y honestidad, debe existir confianza para decirnos la verdad y mucha paciencia para saber escuchar y hasta aguantar.

La honestidad y la lealtad son fundamentales para sostener una verdadera amistad y muchas veces y dependiendo de las circunstancias, de las situaciones que se presentan, es necesario decir las cosas frente a frente por muy dura que sea la verdad.

Esto no quiere decir que al hacerlo seamos personas frías o insensibles, pero sí nos convierte en leales a una amiga a quien se le aprecia y se le quiere de corazón.

Cuando siento la libertad de decirle las cosas a una amiga frente a frente y ella las acepta sin ofenderse, o viceversa, más bien se lo agradezco, es porque estoy valorando la honestidad y la lealtad de su amistad.

Entonces puedo decir que el tener y contar con mis amigas me hace muy feliz, y doy gracias a Dios, porque los sentimientos de amistad son muy grandes ya que muchas veces confiamos nuestros secretos y pasamos los mejores momentos con nuestras amigas, más incluso que con los familiares.

Por mi forma de socializar con las personas, puedo decir que tengo muchas amistades, cómo dice la gente conocidos hay muchos, pero amigas confiables pocas, ya que me lleva tiempo descubrir qué cosas tengo en común con una persona y si podemos entablar una conversación o pasar un momento agradable.

Creo que la amistad no es solamente pasar momentos agradables, es también saber con cuánta confianza nos sentimos al contarle cosas confidenciales o íntimas, así como cuánto estamos dispuestas a escuchar y guardar sus secretos como propios.

El amor de nuestras grandes amigas no los opaca nada, están siempre allí para nosotras y por supuesto debemos estar para ellas, muchas son las cosas que damos por sentado que siempre estarán, lo que nos impide ponerle la atención que merecen, para que a su vez nos den lo que merecemos.

Sé que no puede verme todos los días con mis amigas, pero ni la distancia ni el tiempo pueden romper nuestra amistad, agradezco a Dios por tenerlas en mi vida.

Siempre me ha gustado mantener todo organizado en mi casa, conservando lo que le me da más valor a mi vida y lo que no, cada cierto tiempo, por lo general, a mitad de año, busco deshacerme de lo que pienso que ya no utilizo y me está ocupando un lugar.

No me gusta acumular cosas en exceso, sin embargo, sobre qué cosa vieja y desgastada no puedo desprenderme, les comento que tengo un “adorno” que hice cuando trabajaba en la oficina, y es porque para mí representa un sentimiento de nostalgia.

Pienso que cada grapa que fui coleccionando, representa esos días que se volvieron años en el ámbito laboral y como siempre me ha gustado mi trabajo, agradezco a Dios por tenerlo, sigo amando esa Universidad donde hoy día formo parte como personal administrativo Jubilada.
