MY PLANS FOR THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY

In a couple days, the holidays will begin and so will the celebrations associated with the season.

I don't always make Christmas plans. Or better put, it's been a little while since I made any plans to that effect. In the last two, three years, I went with the tide. Especially because I spent the most of the time indoors. It was; eat, toy with my gadgets, carry out slated routines, and do just anything else that pleased me which I could do in the comfort of my home. Rinse and repeat, adjust and substitute as I deemed.

Earlier on in the year, I had some plans but with the occurrence of an unfortunate event, I had to cancel. So maybe I am back to no plans with little changes this time.

In one of my previous posts, I mentioned that a friend of mine would be spending the holiday with me. A cousin too, called to say she'd be coming by. And am excited.

Although my family always spends Christmas together, it already looks like that wouldn't happen this time. My parents would be making the journey to our hometown. They'd be going to finalize on the date for my grandma's funeral as well as begin preparations. My siblings too might not all be present for reasons that are understandable.
So there'll just be me, one or two of my siblings and my girls.

Becaaue I have settled within myself to make the most of this season, one of the ways I plan to do that is by making new, tasty meals. Just try out different rich recipes and feed everyone real well.

I was also thinking of a movie/game night. I have in mind that we should see an old classic movie. Something comic perhaps. The games wouldn't be hard to get together.

For my girls, I plan on giving them a treat. It would be good for all of us. I've been putting together places we could visit and when they come around, we will come to an agreement on what place(s) exactly..
I really cannot make all the plans alone since am not going to be by myself. When we all come together, I would get their plans too and together we could set things up. They're interesting people so I know they'll be coming with all of the spice.

I should go gift shopping sometime soon too. All of these would make a hole in my purse but I don't mind. Anything for my people. Im not planning to spend more than I can afford to. I work with a budget which might be a little high but which i since settled in my mind. My financial engagements for the next month don't look very friendly so I have to spend within my means.

Meanwhile, that's all for the plans I could come up with. I cant think of much at the moment. There'll be more activities during the holidays, you know. But for now, this is it.
