These players are certainly aware of the risks involved and still sign up for it. You can not be a boxer and expect to have a smooth, clear face(your sport involves getting messy).

I agree that the bodies responsible for the sports have considered and put the welfare of the players first by making certain rules. Any more, and the game might lose its nature.
