LIFE - SAVER.

My 20, 000 mph power bank is a lifesaver, and if you are from this part of the world, down here in Nigeria, I'm fairly certain you can relate to some extent at least.
I've got jewelry, and a few other expensive clothing and household items that are very expensive, but none of them can occupy the space of my power bank in my life. It's simply irreplaceable.

The world could be going crazy and haywire and I won't be bothered as long as my power bank is fully charged. You see, my hustle and my means of livelihood are done on the phone. As opposed to many people who type on their laptops, my phone does the work perfectly.

I could type faster than anyone using a laptop with my phone, and I'm willing to take a bet on that. I've had to deal with irregular electricity supply, and it makes me fall behind on schedules.

I do different types of writing: scripts, novels, statements, and all forms of writing. I do express writing too, (when a client pays for the work to be delivered in 24 hours), then it's all hands on deck with my team.

Each team member has his or her area of specialization, but as the team leader, I have to do my part, i.e. edit and vet the work. Even if I was good with typing on the system which I wasn't, I can't use a power bank to charge it when it's low which is of course another challenge.

I have a generator, and I would have loved to make it my backup, but there are so many challenges like, the cost of fuel, and boy, petrol is so frustratingly expensive. Profits won't be made if we had to tow that path, and of course, there are unforeseen issues like the generator developing faults at the dying minute. What to do? I've had to pacify angry clients because of the electricity issues. It's not professional, and neither is it a good look for our reputation to keep disappointing clients. Something had to be done, so, I got a power bank, and just like that, I was on my best behavior with my clients.

The reviews were mad afterward, and the referrals? I don't want to get into that. When I say a power bank is an essential commodity for an average Nigerian, I'm sure many people will agree with me. It's common knowledge that a lot of people earn their livelihoods from the internet these days and I'm not just capping. I mean, look at online investments, affiliate marketing, and social media platforms, like TikTok, Instagram, and the rest. It's there for all to see.

Content creators have to stay online for hours just so they can be updated. Even when you use two phones, they are bound to go off at some point. Constant electricity supply is one of Nigeria's biggest challenges, and we the citizens have had to improvise. I'm not only speaking for myself when I say having a power bank has been saving lives in Nigeria for years now. How do I get it charged? You might wonder. When the electricity is on, I'll get it charged, and my phone too of course, so I'll be rest assured that I have enough energy saved for later use. At times, when I can afford it after calculating costs, I fuel up my generator and get it charged. Other times, I pay a token at charging centers to get it fully charged while I continue working with my phone. And the bonus part? I don't have to drop my phone to charge whenever I want to charge elsewhere to avoid stories that touch. I'll simply charge my power bank and keep my phone safely with me. My power bank is important to me, and even if everything is going wrong, as long as my power bank is charged, I'm covered. The only thing that matters is getting my work done without interruptions, and once I'm able to do that, all is well.

One of the crucial things saving us in Nigeria is power bank, I can't trade it with other things at all. If other things aren't in my bag it can't be my power bank. I'm always with it plus my charger
