For now for this week I have chosen the sexy and powerful Lux Vega, I wanted to draw her for a long time and finally the time has come. Hola blogueros, espero estén muy bien estoy de vuelta para traerles un nuevo fanart para una nueva edición del concurso semanal de arte de Splinterlands. Estos días he estado muy inmerso en la onda de la creación de personajes, he estado aprendiendo un poco por aquí y un poco por allá y preparando un proyecto que pronto les contaré de que se trata. Por ahora para esta semana he elegido a la sexy y poderosa Lux Vega, hace mucho quería dibujarla y al fin llegó el momento. Te cuento mas como fue hacerla y el paso a paso como siempre te muestro. Vamos allá....

In the last few weeks I have been trying new things in my art work, among them are the techniques and brushes I use, I always use dot textures in my work but it limits me a lot in terms of skin sensations and other things. So I recently found new brushes and I have been trying them and things in my designs that means that they will be changing little by little. For this sketch I wanted to risk a little more and change the pose, with its flaws but the idea is to encourage me to try things that I'm afraid of in my designs.

En la ultimas semanas he estado probando cosas nuevas en mi trabajo de arte, entre ellas están las técnicas y los pinceles que uso, siempre uso texturas de puntos en mis trabajos pero me limita mucho en cuanto a las sensaciones de piel y otras cosas. Así que hace poco encontré nuevos pinceles y he estado probando y cosas en mis diseños eso quiere decir que van a ir cambiando poco a poco. Para este boceto me quise arriesgar un poco mas y cambiar de pose, con sus fallas pero la idea es animarme a probar cosas a las que les temo en mis diseños.

The anatomy is something very difficult and that not everyone handles well, so I want to make an effort to do it very well. It was very difficult to make this sketch especially the face because I didn't know how it should look in that 3/4 profile so I was trying without fear of being wrong, I just let the sketch take shape.

La anatomía es algo super difícil y que no cualquiera maneja bien, así que quiero esforzarme para hacerlo muy bien. fue muy difícil hacer este boceto sobre todo el rostro porque no sabia como debía verse en ese perfil de 3/4 así que fui probando sin temor a equivocarme solo deje que el boceto fuera tomando forma.

Another point that I also wanted to change is the tones in the objects, it is well known in the world of illustration that objects do not have a single tone. That's why I analyzed the original character better and I captured all the tones that I could appreciate there, such as olive green, mustard and dark orange. By doing this kind of capes, the works will look a little more credible and closer to reality.

Otro punto que he querido cambiar también; es los tonos en los objetos, es muy conocido en el mundo de la ilustración que los objetos no tienen un solo tono. Es por ello que analicé mejor el personaje original y plasme todos los tonos que allí podría apreciar como el verde oliva, un mostaza y un naranja oscuro. Haciendo este tipo de cabios las obras van a pasar a verse un poco mas creíbles y acercadas a las realidad.

I didn't think about the background until I finished painting the entire character and realized that she deserved a vibrant, eye-catching background. So I enclosed her in a vortex of power and magic in cool colors that would contrast with the predominantly earthy colors of the character. I placed some cards flying at high speed and gave them a touch of perspective blur to make them appear to be in motion. Tell me what you thought of this fanart.

El fondo no lo pensé si no hasta terminar de pintar el personaje completo y me di cuenta que merecía muchísimo tener un fondo vibrante y llamativo. Así que la encerré en un vortex de poder y magia de colores fríos que iban a contrastar con los colores predominantemente tierra del personaje. Coloqué unas cartas volando a gran velocidad y les di un toque de desenfoque de perspectiva para que pareciesen en movimiento. Cuéntame que te ha parecido este fanart.
