Hello bloggers I hope you are very well, have a good weekend, today I come to show you my entry this week for the weekly art contest @splinterlands, today I decided to make a fanart that I had wanted to do since I started participating in the contest splinterlands, I did not encourage me because it is a character that doing it in a wrong way could be frowned upon, so until now I felt ready to finally make it. I tell you how I made this fanart of WOOD NYMPH and step by step as always.

Hola blogueros espero estén muy bien, que tengan un buen fin de semana, hoy les vengo a mostrar mi entrada de esta semana para el concurso semanal de arte de @splinterlands, el día de hoy me decidí a hacer un fanart que había querido hacer desde que empecé a participar en el concurso de splinterlands, no me animaba porque es un personaje que haciéndola de una manera incorrecta podía ser mal vista, así que hasta ahora me sentí preparado para al fin hacerla. te cuento como hice este fanart de WOOD NYMPH y el paso a paso como siempre.

The sketch took me a long time because lately I've had a bit of a creative block, so I was looking at drawings of my favorite artists for about two hours, to get inspired and take courage to start sketching, I discarded at least three sketches because I wanted her to look like an older girl and not like a girl, Xd so it took me a bit to do it.

En el boceto me tarde bastante porque últimamente he tenido un poco de bloqueo creativo, así que estuve viendo dibujos de mis artistas favoritos al rededor de dos horas, para poder inspirarme y tomar animo de empezar a bocetear, deseché al menos unos tres bocetos porque quería que se viera como una chica mayor y no como una niña, Xd así que me costó un poco hacerla.

After a while this sketch came out and I was very satisfied so then I could start sketching and painting, the truth is the sketching stage is the stage in which I always take more time, my mind always comes up with new ideas when I have the sketches almost finished and most of the time I change my mind and start to erase Xd.

luego de un rato salió este boceto y quedé muy satisfecho así que entonces ya pude empezar como tal a delinear y pintar, la verdad la etapa del boceto es la etapa en la que siempre me tardo mas, mi mente siempre saca nuevas ideas cuando ya tengo los bocetos casi terminados y la mayoría de las veces cambio de opinión y empiezo a borrar Xd.

For the color palette I also changed the tones, I am not a fan of green, in fact I think it is one of my least favorite colors because I feel that my creations (it is a personal opinion) look very ugly with that color, so I changed a little the shades and decided not to paint her skin that color, but only her hair. I also changed his hair a little bit and made it longer to make it a little bit more imposing.

Para la paleta de color pues cambié también los tonos, no soy fan del color verde, de hecho creo que es de mis colores menos preferidos porque siento que mis creaciones(es una opinión personal) se ven muy feas con ese color, así que se cambié un poco los matices y decidí no pintar su piel de ese color, si no solo su cabello. Le cambié un poco también el cabello se lo hice mas largo para hacerlo un poco mas imponente.

Finally on the canvas I also wanted to give it a more vivid tone without losing the essence of the character because I feel that is the element that stands out above everything else, in the background I added a forest and that was it. the truth is that I was quite happy with this illustration and at some point I would like to do it again. tell me what you thought and what other character would you like to see me do.

Por ultimo en la tela igualmente quise darle un tono mas vivo sin que perdiera la escencia del personaje porque siento que es su elemento que mas resalta por sobre todo lo demás, de fondo le agregué un bosque y eso fue todo. la verdad quedé bastante contento con esta ilustración y en algún momento me gustaría volver a hacerla. cuéntame que te pareció a ti y que otro personaje te gustaría ver que hiciera.
