I am quite new to the platform despite joining a few months ago. This is because I got so busy with my activities and barely had time for myself or hive.

But in all these, my mind has been on resuming my hive experience.

The short time I have spent here has shown me a glimpse of the beauty of the platform.

Here are three things which I enjoy the most on hive.

1. Earn from the word "Go";
   When I joined the platform, I had zero followers. I made a post and got rewarded for it. After a short while, I made another post and this time I earned more than the last despite having just one follower.
   So hive is a place where one can earn from day one, without any investment, without any promotion of the post and of course even without a single follower. This is a beauty for someone who struggles to get followers or even lacks capital to start something and does not have the capacity to promote contents outside the Blockchain.

2. Flexibility; imagine that before yesterday, my last post was on the 8th of May, 2024. A whooping 10 months of hiatus.
   Had it been any other work environment, I definitely would have been sacked, especially since I took no permission. I just left to face my challenges.
   But here I am, back like I never left despite my long absence.
   I love the fact that with hive you are your own boss, working at your pace and with your schedule.

3. Numerous Communities; I have done a little scroll around hive and I found out that there's a lot of communities that one can belong to. You can't feel alone or lonely because regardless of your tribe, occupation or even hobby, there is room for you to make content without feeling like an outsider. Be you a music lover, a dancer, a sports fanatic, a poet, a writer, a cyclist, a fitness enthusiast, whatever. There's a community for you and you are also welcome to create your own community if you so wish.

These are the three things I enjoy so much about the platform. I am sure there are many more and I will find out sooner than later as I scroll around and engage with others.
