I have been watching the entries into the the vibes week 29 competition and it has been interesting.

A good number of the musicians did such an amazing job that choosing would be hard, I wish the judges strength cos it's not easy sieving through such quality to get only 6 entries but I also know they would get the job done like they always do.

Some of the entries that really caught my attention I would review in this post, in no particular order.

The performance of @vocal.journey1 was very brilliant. "Because you love me" by Celine Dion is quite a difficult song to sing but she made it look easy, hitting those high notes effortlessly. I can't but give her her flowers. And it's valentine's day, lol 😆

The fire collaboration from @obaro and @midemercy was very pleasing to my ears. With Obaro on the keyboard and Mercy singing with her unique voice and style, I could go on and on watching but had to will myself to stop and go check out other entries.

Next on my list is @stefanovah cover of "Ancient Of Days" by Ron Kenoly which was very outstanding. I enjoyed every bit of his performance and most especially his vocals. His voice is the real deal. I would ask for the secret of such voice if I could get it.

Also @oluwadrey covered "I Want It That Way" by Backstreet Boys in such a powerful way. His voice and his expressions was very pleasant especially knowing the song from back in the days. I had to doff my hat for him.

I also watched a very unique entry from @ricardopercusion he played the instrument with such expertise that I was tempted to ask if he invented it. The melody that he produced was very interesting and I couldn't help nodding to each beat.

When I saw @graat performance of one of my favourite songs of old from Tina Turner, "What's Love Got To Do With It". I was very nostalgic listening to it and I was impressed with how calmly he sang it giving meaning to the words.

Another entry which blew my mind was @winanda cover of "Zombie" By The Cranberries. This lady's voice and her singing prowess is exceptional. I loved the song just from her performance even though I didn't know it before then.

I had to check out her page and I was not surprised to see other amazing entries by her.

Last but not the least, @hopestylist cover of Swear it Again by Westlife was a blessing to my ears. She not only sang beautifully well, she also owned the song with her expressions. I was happy watching it and smiling at the same time.

With such numerous beautiful entries, I didn't remember to check my music app to play any song. I was engrossed on vibes. I know there are other amazing entries which I must have missed. I couldn't view all of them but I must say kudos to all the participants. You guys are doing a great job. I tried to do it but discovered how hard it is to record oneself singing.

Also kudos to the organisers and judges who work tirelessly behind the scenes. The theme for the week was very inspiring as it brought forth such numerous entries that one could go back in time by just listening to these songs. It was a good week.

Let's see how week 30 turns out.
