New Jacket and Colors for the Light Healer - Trait Contest

Today the chosen one was the healer of light, the one I like the most. I wanted to customize it to my taste and thus continue participating in the contest that is still active in the community. I took the opportunity not only to change his colors but also to design some thunder elements for his jacket, which I think are very eye-catching.

Initially I thought about giving an orange color to the jacket but as I progressed in the illustration I decided to change it to red. This is one of the functions that I like the most about working in Photoshop, Illustrator and most editing programs, and thanks to the functionality of the layers we can come again and again until we get the desired result, so as I said before it is a process of trial and error.

Painting each part is exhausting because it is done manually with a digital brush, that way one is coloring piece by piece.

I decided to change the color of the jacket, I liked it better with red than with orange, I did it to get a better contrast.

Once the painting process was finished I decided to add an acore background to the character's element to integrate them more in the illustration...I surrounded him with thunder because he is the healer that can summon Zappit with great power.
