Hello, beautiful ladies! The contest question has caught my attention. The question is, what aspect of my life am I grateful for not being 100% in control of? The aspect of my life that I am grateful for not having complete control over is my marriage. Lately, things have changed, and I have noticed that my husband has changed tremendously. I have been doing my best to work on myself and make sure that our relationship works. However, it is causing me a lot of stress.

When we met, I used to be very active, and my husband loved everything about me. He would take pictures of me every day, even when I was not in the mood for pictures, just to have them in his gallery. But after we had our first child, things changed. He stopped paying attention to me and stopped taking pictures of both me and the baby. He complains about everything, and he even finds it easy to report me to his sisters and mom.

Most times, I just overlook his behavior and hope for a change one day. I believe that most marriages do not work because of the man's negative expressions about the woman. I have asked him on different occasions if I was making him angry, and his response was always, "No, baby, you are doing great." However, deep down, I know that something is wrong.

At this point, I know that I am very grateful for my marriage, but I do not have 100% control over it. It pains me to think that I don't have control over it. I am working towards having total control, but sometimes I ask myself if I am asking for too much or if I am being too protective of my man. I am confused right now, but I know that I will get there someday and have full control. But most will say you can't have full control of your marriage no matter how you try, yes they may be right about that, the most important thing is to try your best and leave the rest for God to handle.
No matter what I will always be grateful for my marriage.
